Here begins the most horrific event of your life, a seemingly endless game where only one can be left standing. Your heart races as the room remains dark, ominous noises echo within your skull, and the ground below you begins to shake. A strong and potent smell fills the room, and you begin to feel a bit drowzy, eventually succumbing to the effects of the gas released. Now the games can finally begin.
Aliez woke up to total darkness, pitch black filled her eyes as her pupils desperately searched for any sign of light. This was just so frightening... Yet, she somehow knew events such as these would occur. It was odd, really, how this stranger on the internet got along with her so well, it wasn't an easy task to do so after all. What was even stranger was the fact that he had befriended so many others, and everyone was drastically different. It was almost like this being already knew things about his soon-to-be victims and used it against them. Huh... Well, not much she could do now, other than anticipate some other creepy thing that was bound to happen soon.
Honestly, she was surprised at how well she was maintaining her cool. Not only that, Aliez had figured things out so quickly, it was almost as scary as this mess. She wasn't one to believe in ghosts or the paranormal, but she was certain that her 'friend' was something similar. Well, self-appraisal aside, she had to figure out what was going on in the moment. Her weak legs trembled as they lifted Aliez's immense body weight from the ground, her hands frantically reaching for any kind of support. Guess the gas hadn't fully worn off, otherwise the muscular woman would have no trouble picking herself up. As soon as her fingertips touched something, a swift movement was made to firmly grip whatever object it was, which turned out to be the familiar texture of cloth. Something felt a bit... off though, when her hands clasped around a thin shape, which seemed to be an arm. The clothing seemed cold, and the limb wasn't firm or supportive in any way. Even with something to grab, Aliez still had trouble getting up due to the lack of support. Besides... No sound was made, no movements either. Wouldn't the person she was grabbing flinch? A sick feeling crawled up her throat as the possibilities came flooding into her head. Strangely enough though, the morbid thoughts she had only reassured her and calmed her down, and a sense of excitement replaced her dread. This was going to be interesting, wasn't it?

Ari’s senses slowly came back to him. His eyes slowly opened as he regained control of his fingers, raising his arm to comb his messy hair back and rub his eyes. He looked around him for a second, expecting to be lying down on the blades of grass looking up at the scary building he was told to go to, the darkness through it’s windows hiding the shadows that lurk in it.
Instead he was met with pitch black darkness, a horrifying smell and the sight of what look like a skull in between his feet.
Anyone within a few rooms from him may have appreciated the few moments of silence before a ringing scream blared throughout the probably empty corridors like a fire alarm. Ari jumped out of shock while screaming like his life depended on it as he scrambled away from the skull, met with more bones of whatever creature littering the concrete floor. Since his head was still fogged up, and further worsened by the stench, he was wobbling on his feet as he leaned against the wall and tried to keep his thoughts together.
Why was he here? He should have been at home watching TV right now, laughing at the silly cartoons he always watched. Instead, he found himself in a scene close to that from a horror movie.
He let out a nervous laugh as he thought his friend was messing with him, his memories coming back together in bits as the effects of the gas wore off. Yeah, maybe Derrick was just in the mood for an early halloween jumpscare. He would love to see Ari’s silly reactions.
Right?
“Hey, Derrick, if you’re around, this isn’t funny,” he chuckled worriedly, supressing yet another scream as he saw a quick movement in the dark. No response came and he was only met with the silence and the rapid beating of his heart.
Oh, does he wish he could just go home. He glared at the skull, looking back at it’s empty sockets where an eye should be. “You’re behind this aren’t you?” He pouted, messing around to try and get rid of the lingering fear in his mind. He laughed at himself as nothing happened, just as he expected-
The skull’s teeth chattered.
Another ear-splitting scream resonated through the place.
She began to scan her surroundings. It was quiet. Slightly quiteter than she’d hope. And... dark. The first thing she could remember was falling into a deep sleep, then the ground rumbling... strange...
~~~
Later on, she tried to punch the walls. Nothing but painful hands. She paced around the room. She was in a room with nobody in particular, but heard footsteps to her west.
She decided to walk over to where the footsteps and clattering originated; looking down at her feet on the way so she wouldn’t see anything... disturbing.
But since she was staring at her feet, she wasn’t looking at her surroundings. She crashed into a dusty wall. “Argh!” She exclaimed, combing the dust out of her hair with her fingers.
She was lost. Of course.
“I need to get out of here. If not, just survive.” She mumbled, sitting down on the floor cross-legged. She began emptying her pockets to see if she had anything. Just her cellphone, whichh didn’t have battery.
She threw her phone on the ground. Nothing. But if that phone was useful, that’d be great. She stood up and stuffed the broken phone in her pocket and moved on, walking seemingly aimlessly through the pitch black.
Skylar's hand felt something solid. She flinched back, shaking off her hand as if there would be diseases or germs on her hand. Skylar backed away from whatever that was and went to where she thought she woke up.
Warning: Mentions of gore
It started with a few voices at first, but then came the stream of echoed words from the other people around him. Ari didn't know if he should be relieved by the fact that he wasn't alone or if he should be scared if the voices were his hallucinations or, worse case scenario, some sort of ghost haunting him.
It was a silly and childish thought, but who knows?
After minuted had gone by and nothing out of the ordinary happened, except the occasional movement of the skull's jaw in front of him, the chattering of the teeth making him jump every time, Ari had eventually calmed down. Though he was terrified, at least he wasn't a screaming mess just like he was before. He was determined to find the other people nearby so he started wandering in the dark, trying to feel for a door, and opeing, anything that'll lead to the room exit.
His foot stepped on something and he heard a chilling crack. Startled he looked down to what looked like a cut off finger, the dried bits of blood staining the pale skin. He didn't even let out a scream as he was left standing there, horrified at the sight.
It was followed by five more of them, leading him to what looked like a rotting body, lying on the concrete floor. The arms and legs were bent at weird angles and blood scrawled out letters on the barren walls, barely illuminated by a single candle sitting on the chair, showing him an opening to the other area. The light helped him read the messy words, the crimson color almost blazing on the dull, grey concrete.
Help Me
Ari was stunned silent as he read the writings in his head, the feeling of immense fear jumping out of the two words. He gulped as he walked past the scene and walked out through the opening. His body shook at the thought of what laid ahead, but he focused on finding the other people stuck here with him.
Silently, he swallowed the fact that he may not make it out alive.
"I'm looking for you!" She exclaimed as she navigated her way through the dark halls, bloodstained or not. Maybe the best choice was to keep talking, so whoever this was could find her easily. Unless something else wanted to find her.
But that's unlikely, right?
