"Both sides are putting up a pretty good fight." She said to herself consciously, her weird hyper-focused trait kicking in. For some reason for as long as she remembered, at some random intervals her focus is the only thing she thinks about. She heard once it was an ADHD thing or something. But it didn't do anything other than help her take in details easier. Like the spells Ketvia was using. Or maybe she was replying to Kendo. She didn't know herself.

ArcadeCarpet was flying above Alpha City, having a conversation with herself about something random (such was the benefit of having two heads), soon getting interrupted by a text on her tiny communication device. Confused, she responded with "Ehat di yoy m3sn bt tgat?"

“Just because I’m being attacked doesn’t mean I can’t hear you dolt!” He shouted at Kendo. His eyes flickered to the sentimonster, which reminded him of Inazuma’s current thunderstorm. He commanded it to start attacking, which it did. This time he did dodge the spell completely

As soon as I heard the booms, I took off down the halls. I had one location in mind, the artifacts room. If any of those magic users got their hands on one of the relics... I shuddered. I quickly kicked open the doors and stood guard.

"Alright!" I ran down the halls, remembering the plans I'd gone over. Just down this hall, I gotta grab as many relics as I can.

Ketvia made her decision. "Resistance, we're bailing the mission! abort mission!" she commanded, saying about 5 more different sentences all meaning 'leave'

"Docalys Magnora!" Emelie cast a spell that would make her voice louder, before shouting "Resistance! Scatter!" due to the spell as long as you were in the area of the alpha base, you could hear it.

After a few more attempts at typing the message she intended to send, ArcadeCarpet just typed "nrveemimd", and tossed the communicator into the unholy mixture of coffee, energy drink, hand sanitizer, and glowstick fluid that the right head, Carpet, was drinking, proceeding to chug the rest down.

"There's a difference between retreating and running away." Ketvia pointed out "Running away is- running away. Retreating is for a good reason. For example we're bailing because we don't want to one, die, and two, get hurt."

Emelie used boombastia on the cells, breaking the bars and freeing some resistance npcs.

Akko had just gotten into the room, snatching artifacts, when she saw a figure. He was wearing a golden, birdlike mask and carried a staff. After a quick duel, she had lost all artifacts but one. abort!

She dropped her relic, waving her wand. "This has been fun, but... Sybilladura Lelladybura! Shiny Valley!" The Shiny Rod turned into a hroom which she promptly rode out of the room, then out of the base, all the way back to resistance city.

Oh. Okay. Retreating, sure. She looked back at Kendo and started to ascend the stairs; she was going pretty slow. Slow enough to be left behind from the group. She then paused for a moment, realizing.
He said 'ghost kid'
She didn't show her ghost form to him. Did he actually see it?
She contemplated asking him but felt it would risk her life and then she ascended the stairs.

ArcadeCarpet landed outside the base, only to be stopped by the fact that they can't exactly fit through the door.

Ketvia didn't have time to block with her spear, so she just blocked with her arm. Not a great solution one might say, but it was a good last resort if you had scales. after blocking she quickly went through the tunnel, bailing the mission.

the captured resistance members also fled, because they were tired of being captured.
