Plenty of wooden blocks, rubber balls, and other toys are scattered about the round rug that covers the floor. There is a doorway off to the left with a sign reading "Playroom" hanging over it, and a room off to the right with a sign reading "Nap Room" hanging over it. Vegas is all alone, except for a Poke Ball in the center of the room that shakes a bit from time to time.

"Eris..." She says thoughtfully. "That's a pretty name." Kitty flattens her ears in shame. "If you don't mind me asking, you're a shiny pokemon, aren't you?.... My mother was a shiny pokemon too, so i've learned to live peacefully with alternate-colored pokemon."

Kitty felt bad for asking such a question, as she knew that some shiny pokemon didn't like to be asked questions like that thanks to the bullying they were subjected to. But at the same time, she wanted Eris to know that she wouldn't judge her based off of her looks.

Eris was shocked. That made the nonthreatening attitude make sense! She nodded. "Yes. I am, indeed, a shiny." she said with a breath of relief. At least someone wouldn't bully her here.... Maybe there would be others like Kitty?
