Kitty looks at Eris. "Eris..." Her eyes are heavy with sadness. "I'm sorry I left, I really am. But... This trainer looked like she needed help..." Kitty's eyes flick away to look at the surrounding foliage. "Is... Is there anyway I can make it up to you?"

"Huh?" Kitty turns to look at Excalibur, then looks between Eris and Excalibur. "I wasn't really..." She mumbles, then sighs. "Wait, you want me to be the cook?! You think my curry is that good!?" Kitty looks back at Excalibur excitedly. "I-I-I mean I'd be happy to!" Kitty stutters happily, wagging her tail.

Emika smiled, and after glancing at the darkening sky, handed the Torracat off to the Froslass. She spoke, "I'm afraid I must go. It's quite late." Looking at the Torracat, she smiled at her. "Don't worry, I'll be back sometime tomorrow." With that, Emika curtsied and headed off, back to her base for the night.
Eris wasn't upset with Kitty. She had gone to help someone after all. She carefully held Kitty in her arms and did her best to mimic the curtsy performed by the tepig-tailed girl. As the girl left, she turned her attention back to Kitty. "I'm so glad you're alright! And I agree with Excalibur. You'd be a great cook!"

Kitty waved her tail goodbye at Emika before nuzzling Eris. "I'm glad you think so!" Kitty turned to look at Excalibur. "Excalibur, when do you think they could do the nurse could remove it?" She says, looking at the stone.

The source of the noise turns out to be a Zororark on all fours. Excalibur turns and heads in the direction of the daycare.

Emika made it back to her base camp without incident. She got ready for bed and laid down in her tent. Her mind was however plagued by thoughts of the Torracat. She wanted to help her, however she could..... She rolled to her side and slowly fell asleep.

Kitty looks at Eris as she curls up, taking care not to stretch her leg too much. Gently, she leans over and undoes the ribbon on her leg, afraid it will create to much pressure. However, she tries to hand it to Eris instead of just leaving it aside. "Could you tie it on around my ear? I think that might look pretty cute." She says, blushing slightly out of the embarrassment that she can't do it herself.

Eris smiled brightly. "Sure thing!" She accepted the ribbon and tied it on Kitty's ear, careful to make it tight enough to stay on but not tight enough to hurt Kitty. Smiling at her handiwork, Eris couldn't help a small yawn. It was pretty late...

Kitty woke up just before dawn and looked over at her sleeping friend. Purring softly, she gave her a gentle affectionate nuzzle before standing up, wobbling as she tried to balance without putting weight on her bad leg. Tentatively, she tested how far she could stretch her leg. Not too bad..[i] she thought to herself, as she stretched enough to touch the ground. [i]Still don't want to put weight on it though...

Carefully, she slid out from under her blanket and stepped outside the tent. Looking around, she grabbed a stick with her tail and scribbled a hasty note for Eris saying that she would be at the cooking pot.

Man, my writing is horrible. I should probably work on that...

Quietly, as to not disturb others, Kitty set to work, gathering berries, flour, and other ingredients, as well as cooking tools to start breakfast.
