It's exactly what I said, and let me explain in detail.

So last week, i decided to speedrun set 2 by completing all the set 2 tasks that were necessary.

At the end of the week, I saw that I had completed every single badge except for 2, 1 of them being leveling up your pokemon to level 100 and the other one being Search for Gold. When I went to the spoiler wiki, i was shocked to see it's criteria
"Get 2500 coins in 1 rumble"
Normally I'd get maximum 600 coins for a 12 rumble in a level 7 area, but considering the contrast of difficulty of this badge and the others, this was mad.
I decided to check on some online people's profiles and see all the achievements they got, and It had the exact same end: People who played for 2 years still hadn't got this badge. And we're talking about people who had level 1000 legendary pokemon in their party....

I think this achievement needs to be drastically changed; people really need that 3rd rumble bag y'know!

A possibility is that they get 500 coins in a simgle rumble (Which even then is really hard considering they need to grind their rumbling so that they reach 1 area to level 6 and only then receive the achievement, but is much more POSSIBLE) and even if this dosent check out, they could completely revamp the achievement.

To Summarize, Change the Search for Gold Achievement and make it easier!!
What is a signature? a special marking? a sign of independence? Not really. I think it's nothing. And that's what makes it special.

Just gonna pop in and say that ive had the search for gold badge for years. There’s a lot of luck involved but also you just have to be rumbling for a while. You have only played for 9 days, of course you aren’t going to be on that level to get it. I got it after my 1st year of playing and thats only because i barely did rumble missions. The badges just aren’t meant for speed running

Plus you should probably put the badge requirements here in spoilers, both for pure strength and search for gold.

I get what you mean Hooty but on the other hand while it probably took a year for you to get that badge, the other badges were completable within a week. I also stopped the speedrun with this complaint on hand (You can see I took your advice on hiding the complaint with spoiler) This basically proves that Search for Gold is as hard as a Set #4 Badge seeing the difference in obtaining these badges.

First of all, lemme say this: there are 8 badges per set. If you move it, where on earth would it go? You can't just switch badges in the middle of the game when no one really pays attention to them anyways.

Now, it seems easy to get the badges if you googled how to get them. I'm pretty sure Riako added that one thinking you'll spend some time trying to find how to get the others, and you'll have rumbled a lot in that time, meaning you'll have gotten the badge near the same time as the other ones in set 2.

Now, to get to the real part:

Honestly, it's quite easy to get the badge. Just send all your rumblers to one area. I have been here for over a year, and it says I've gotten the badge '1 Year ago', meaning, if you did the math, I would have gotten it within a few months of my account creation. (Otherwise, it should say '# Months ago')
It's easy to get, you just keep sending your rumblers.

I personally think it's a good goal to work towards.

You don't need the badge. Just don't get it if you think it's too hard.

KitsuneNinetales what you're saying makes complete sense, but you do know the gap between your 1st set 2 badge and your last set 2 badge is kind of a huge difference...

you practically got it after you started set 3 badges; what i'm complaining about isn't to change its set, but to lower the difficulty so that it matches with the other set 2 badges

In my opinion, after comparing all the sets, the gap of difficulty between each set are all equal.

As well as, you don't actually need to do the sets in order, just skip it and do the next set. I actually think I completed set 3 before getting that Search for Gold badge.

Also, I personally think that it needs one hard badge, a rumble bag isn't what you call necessary, but like, if you really want it, you should work for it. It makes sense to work hard on rumble to get an extra rumble. All you get from completing it is a rumble bag. You wouldn't need a rumble bag unless you prove that you really do rumble and you actually want/need it.

At first, I admit, I didn't really like the idea of getting 'Search for Gold' badge (2.5k PD in one rumble was a pain for me, as I have terrible luck...), so I moved onto the 3rd set instead.

But thinking again, it wasn't too bad. It may take only a few months, if you regularly send your Pokemon go rumbling. Slowly, it becomes a routine whenever you see the notifications telling that your Pokemon have returned.
I see that you've just come here for.. 9 days? So I think you should explore other areas first, before or during completing the badge sets

And... maybe in the meantime, you can just finish the 3rd set of badge? There's a badge that is also involved in rumbling in 3rd set, and... the prize for the 3rd set is better in my opinion unless you want the rumble bag so badly. I guess it's just me who don't need 3rd rumble bag :/

It's optional to complete the badge sets or not. It's not like this will heavily affects your progress or sth

I just got mine around ten days ago, and I believe it's not that hard to get that badge, and it shouldn't be moved necessarily to another set since it's rather straightforward. Sure, it may take a few months, but it's not very demanding. Like other users on this thread mention – you can simply move on to another set whilst waiting for this badge to be completed.

A massive spoiler ahead: It solely depends on how much time you spend on sending your Pokémon to one area, and also for how long you send your Pokémon for a certain mission (six hours, twelve hours. . .), I think.
