I keep seeing a question mark circle on pokemon in the wondertrade. Does it mean that I got the code for a Ho Oh and if it is, I did not get a code even though it clearly says it was traded to me. Pls help

The question mark simply means the Pokémon was released to my knowledge. The ID can't link to a Pokémon when it's released, since the data doesn't really exist unless you recover it.

I'm pretty sure you can't release a pokemon that's on wonder trade cause when I try to release a pokemon that's on wonder trade, it doesn't get released

After the wondertrade is completed, the person simply released the pokemon, causing it to cease to exist in the game

I don’t think it is. I have Pokémon traded to me that have a question mark but I have never released any Pokémon
