I might revamp one of my older BNHA OCs who looks like a floofy dragon (from a parent having a mutant quirk that made them look like that) whose quirk is basically Wolverine's claws from X-Men

I actually dug out my old OC's ref sheet (so I could get his name and quirk details right), won't be using his art from the pic since it's pretty outdated, so for now I'm gonna use Flight Rising for his appearance (since, like I mentioned, he looks like a dragon from one of his parents' quirks) and Picrew for his civilian outfit

Personality: A rather chill guy, tends to avoid conflict if possible. Very friendly, and rather enjoyable to be around

Quirk: Claws of Steel - He has slits in his upper knuckles that allow him to secrete a material similar to liquid metal that solidify to form claws. In solid state, these claws are sharp and are retractable, and will become liquid once retracted. If a claw is broken, it feels as painful as if one's bone were to break, and if heated to extreme temperatures, Daiki will feel the heat from the claws. If the claws are retracted too quickly, that too will cause immense pain. It will take at least a few days for a broken claw to be able to fully reform, as it takes a while for Daiki's body to form new claw-liquid to replace what was lost

- He wore bandages around his hands when he was younger as to not accidentally activate his quirk and hurt anyone. Even though he's learned to control his quirk by now, he still wears bandages as an extra safety precaution
- The dragon head and tail were passed down from a parent who had a dragon quirk (Basically, similarly to Tokoyami and that one guy with the rock head who could talk to animals (whose name I keep forgetting), he has a quirk-related mutation thingy that was passed down that doesn't really effect his quirk at all)

Personality: Has 2 personalities, depending on which side of him is in control, more will be explained:
Rey: Represents his good, more heroic side, and is willing to help others against villians. He’s a little introverted tho
Reyna: Represents his resentful side against the heroes, the part that hates the hero association for giving him his failed quirk. Not exactly evil, but is a anti-hero. Will join the villians to take down the heroes if he gets control. Does not take over easily.
Orientation: straight
Hero, Student, or Villain?: Is a hero at first, after a certian event, when Reyna takes over his personaility, will join the villians.
Quirk: Random. Rey can access all powers, but is unable to choose which power he gets. He is also unable to control the power, unless he learns how to. Although it is by default completely random, there are certain factors that may allow him to have a higher chance of using specific power. Upon ingesting the DNA of another person, he gets a increased chance to use that power, depending on how much he ingested. Once he swaps powers, this chance resets, and he no longer gets a increased chance until he ingests more DNA. His personallity will also change depending on who’s quirk he obtains. The more powerful, the more the effect on his personallity

Other: Likes tinkering with electronics, prefers using hero tools over using his quirk, due to the unreliability and destructive power of his quirk. He has pretty bad luck too. (I won’t give him super powerful powers depending on the situation, and will give him rather unreliable powers, so his power scaling will not be that high.) Rey didn’t get his power natually. he was a test subject for the hero association, and used Rey as the final test subject for the organisation’s secret project, to create a permanent drug, that allows is user to use any power, with unlimited use. However, The drug didn’t work as planned. Instead of giving Rey the power to use any power for a unlimited time, it gave Rey access to random powers that he can’t choose. This results in Rey having a access to a extremely destructive power he cannot control, and part of him hated the hero organisation for that.

@Chewydabacca Quirk's still too op for me, it seems like a 8-10 level and the main characters should have around 7 or under

a way you could make random work is maybe have like a small chart and use a number generate to determine what sorts of power he uses depending on the number, kinda like a wild mage in dnd. just wanted to offer some help chewydabacca, your quirk looks awesome

@theinsaneone I'd say as long as he tells us the list of powers he might end up using and explains them, that sounds like a good idea!

Hm… how would this random number thing work @theinsaneone? I’ve never played dnd before, but I use this weird superpower generator, as it gives the true random touch to his quirk

of course, I add my own powers here and there, as Rey will completely get destroyed if I rely on it lol

@tem- if I use that, would it be okay? Given that Rey doesn’t know how to control the powers he obtains

A list of Powers that is my personal fav to use:

blink: teleports to anywhere, but since rey can’t control it well, he teleports to a random location a small distance away

The power generator is true randomness. If tem says that you have to use a chart then you could have it be separated like
Power 1, roll 1-5
Power 2, roll 6-10
Power 3, roll 11- 15
Power 4, roll 16-20
Etc. Etc. Or you could set it up a different way. Once that's done, pull up a random number generator and have it pick a number between 1 and 100 (or whatever your using as a cap) and whatever number is pulled is what power you get
