Locked away (rp)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Locked away (rp)The news reported this, every trainer in the world is affected. Suddenly it seems like all your pokeballs containing your pokemon team are locked and unusable. Reports even say even pokeballs not containing any pokemon are broken too, meaning they can't be used to catch pokemon. You're stuck with only one pokemon, since only one of your pokeballs haven't been locked.
Is this the end? even highly skilled trainers can't defeat Genesect with only one pokemon. But then the other legendary pokemon tell that you are one of the chosen and are giving you a weapon inspired by a pokemon to help you defeat Giovanni and free the locked pokeballs.
You are suddenly teleported to a town that you recognize as Viridian city. You still have that one pokemon that wasn't locked away from you. Maybe you should find an pokecenter before people question you?
(also you guys don't have your weapons yet)
Then, all of a sudden, her bedroom wasn't there.
Upon looking around, a slightly dazed Ellise came to the conclusion that she was in Viridian city. It took longer than she would like to realize that, especially considering the gym sign proclaiming Viridian City Gym - The Last Stop Before The Elite 4!. She had never been any good at paying attention though so that didn't surprise her. It then hit her just how strange this was, she hadn't walked there, she knew that much. As for how she got there though, Ellise wasn't ashamed to admit that she was at a loss.
Olive floated up into her arms and she held her tight in her arms, still clutching her photograph in one hand. No matter what happens, Ellise vowed, she wasn't going to loose Olive. It might be too late for her mid though. Unless this was actually happening (unlikely) her mind was well and truly lost, she thought to herself bitterly.
The ink-dipped black quill glided smoothly across the document as she wrote, elegant cursive penmanship decorating the page. After signing it off, Arashi places the feather back into the inkpot with an audible annoyed sigh. It was days such as this, where she had no league challenger battles recorded in her journal, that Arashi would spend the majority of the day cooped up in her dimly lit office, silently working on the pile of paperwork that seemed to only grow in height upon the oak desk. Today, especially. The Champion had barely stepped into the League's Palace that morning, showing up for work, when she was bombarded with the reports of the locking Pokéballs by her colleagues. She - very quickly - learnt that she, too, had been affected, 4 out of 5 of her Pokéballs locking. To say that Arashi was irritated for not noticing earlier would be an understatement. No one dared say anything more, but all anxiously watched as Arashi stormed her way through the building, to her office, a loud and heavy slam resonating throughout the halls soon after.
That was where she remained for hours, the four locked luxury balls sitting on her desk. Mandibuzz, Skarmory, Gyarados, Talonflame. With quite a bit of unnecessary force, Arashi pulls open the top drawer of the hardwood desk, causing the capsules above to clink together like marbles. From the drawer, she plucks out an envelope from an array of other bits of stationery and slides the letter inside, sealing it with the traditional wax stamp, which had been customised to print her 'A' initial. With the letter still in hand, Arashi stretches up from her seat, the cramp in her legs from hours of sitting finally allowed to ease. Being her own boss, she decides now would be the time that she would go pick up a snack, after sending off the document, before returning. Although, before leaving, she can't help but glance wistfully at the Pokéballs on her desk, at the same time, feeling through the fabric of her dress for the lone Pokéball fixed into a custom-built holster on her thigh.
Mentally vowing to herself to do all she can to help her Pokémon - to help her region, and its people - she reaches for the handle of the door to her office. But as she goes to step out into the hall, a dizzy sensation takes over and she blacks out. The next thing Arashi knows, upon waking from her brief fainting episode, she's picking herself up from off of the ground in an unknown town - how embarrassing. Well, not quite, unknown. Despite having never left her home region, she's was able to make out her surroundings to be that of Viridian City, from pictures in geography books she'd read on a whim. Still... How did she get here? Why was she here? Was this all related to the locked Pokéballs? So many questions and Arashi felt powerless without answers to any of them. She figured a trip to the Pokémon Center, a communal area, would be her best bet at finding some.

She was just walking back from Wedgehurst station when she was suddenly in a different place. Pulling out her phone she thought she could pull up a map but she didn't have any wifi around here, yet. She decided it was a best idea to head to a pokecenter and find a region map there.
But his pondering doesn't last long as they feel the tree disappear behind their back, falling onto the payment floor as shade lets out a concern "haunt!"
"Ow" hex murmur as they get up noticing the tree was long gone in fact there in a city now? Letting out a "ummm-" before noticing a sign saying for viridian city. Hex didn't want to question if they did they would be here all day, still Standing in front of the sign shade Taps on his shoulder pointing at the Pokecenter as hex nods in response "yeah let go...". Wrapping his cape around himself again, hoping not to be noticed they slowly walked away towards the center with shade hovering behind.

picking up a Map she sat down and started reading, trying to figure out where Meso was right now. probably in some corner or under tables where no one would go. Maybe even hanging from the ceiling.

Shade twirl himself through the door as a ghost they of course he could fade into stuff, hex shakes his head has he remarks "what have I told you about doing that we are not trying to scare anyone here!" Sighing as they Stumble in not noticing vloia immediately.
Shade letting himself out a giggle as hex walks over to him shaking their head "well aren't you a jokester" but this doesn't last long, as shades eye soon grasped on a girl reading some map. Hex gives a confuse eye "what are you-" before they're purple eyes pierce toward viola "oh" hex Whispers.
