The infamous Giovanni. Leader of team rocket, always up to no good. It's no surprise he has managed to capture and control Genesect. That did not surprise anyone, he's always trying to do that. What surprised you was what happened next.

The news reported this, every trainer in the world is affected. Suddenly it seems like all your pokeballs containing your pokemon team are locked and unusable. Reports even say even pokeballs not containing any pokemon are broken too, meaning they can't be used to catch pokemon. You're stuck with only one pokemon, since only one of your pokeballs haven't been locked.

Is this the end? even highly skilled trainers can't defeat Genesect with only one pokemon. But then the other legendary pokemon tell that you are one of the chosen and are giving you a weapon inspired by a pokemon to help you defeat Giovanni and free the locked pokeballs.

You are suddenly teleported to a town that you recognize as Viridian city. You still have that one pokemon that wasn't locked away from you. Maybe you should find an pokecenter before people question you?

(also you guys don't have your weapons yet)

Ellise had been sat in her bedroom on the end of her bed, head in her hands and silently mourning the loss of her Pokémon. Only Olive - her Whimsicott - had been out of her Pokeball at the time and thus was the only one to survive. No, she told herself strictly, the rest of her team were not dead. They would be free again soon. They are alive, no matter what anyone says. That still didn't stop the salty tears leaking from her eyes, one landing with a splash on the old photograph she held in her hand. It showed her, a couple of months ago, sat on a bench outside Ericas gym playing with her Pokémon: Appultun, Mincinno, Swadloon, Bellossom and Eldegoss. Appultun was an Applin and Eldegoss was a Gossifleur at the time but it was the best she had and it wasn't like she could get another one now. That, once again, set the tears flowing, fast and fresh. Olive then squeezed herself under Ellise's arms, her fluffy ail brushing against her face sending the fragrance of her tangerine shampoo swirling aoround her trainer - a comforting smell to say the least.

Then, all of a sudden, her bedroom wasn't there.

Upon looking around, a slightly dazed Ellise came to the conclusion that she was in Viridian city. It took longer than she would like to realize that, especially considering the gym sign proclaiming Viridian City Gym - The Last Stop Before The Elite 4!. She had never been any good at paying attention though so that didn't surprise her. It then hit her just how strange this was, she hadn't walked there, she knew that much. As for how she got there though, Ellise wasn't ashamed to admit that she was at a loss.
Olive floated up into her arms and she held her tight in her arms, still clutching her photograph in one hand. No matter what happens, Ellise vowed, she wasn't going to loose Olive. It might be too late for her mid though. Unless this was actually happening (unlikely) her mind was well and truly lost, she thought to herself bitterly.

"Sky..." He looked up and met my gaze. "We'll get them back, right?" I chuckled as he lightly pecked my arm as a sign of affection.

-Teleport-

"What the-" Sky screeched and flew off. "Wait up!"

The ink-dipped black quill glided smoothly across the document as she wrote, elegant cursive penmanship decorating the page. After signing it off, Arashi places the feather back into the inkpot with an audible annoyed sigh. It was days such as this, where she had no league challenger battles recorded in her journal, that Arashi would spend the majority of the day cooped up in her dimly lit office, silently working on the pile of paperwork that seemed to only grow in height upon the oak desk. Today, especially. The Champion had barely stepped into the League's Palace that morning, showing up for work, when she was bombarded with the reports of the locking Pokéballs by her colleagues. She - very quickly - learnt that she, too, had been affected, 4 out of 5 of her Pokéballs locking. To say that Arashi was irritated for not noticing earlier would be an understatement. No one dared say anything more, but all anxiously watched as Arashi stormed her way through the building, to her office, a loud and heavy slam resonating throughout the halls soon after.

That was where she remained for hours, the four locked luxury balls sitting on her desk. Mandibuzz, Skarmory, Gyarados, Talonflame. With quite a bit of unnecessary force, Arashi pulls open the top drawer of the hardwood desk, causing the capsules above to clink together like marbles. From the drawer, she plucks out an envelope from an array of other bits of stationery and slides the letter inside, sealing it with the traditional wax stamp, which had been customised to print her 'A' initial. With the letter still in hand, Arashi stretches up from her seat, the cramp in her legs from hours of sitting finally allowed to ease. Being her own boss, she decides now would be the time that she would go pick up a snack, after sending off the document, before returning. Although, before leaving, she can't help but glance wistfully at the Pokéballs on her desk, at the same time, feeling through the fabric of her dress for the lone Pokéball fixed into a custom-built holster on her thigh.

Mentally vowing to herself to do all she can to help her Pokémon - to help her region, and its people - she reaches for the handle of the door to her office. But as she goes to step out into the hall, a dizzy sensation takes over and she blacks out. The next thing Arashi knows, upon waking from her brief fainting episode, she's picking herself up from off of the ground in an unknown town - how embarrassing. Well, not quite, unknown. Despite having never left her home region, she's was able to make out her surroundings to be that of Viridian City, from pictures in geography books she'd read on a whim. Still... How did she get here? Why was she here? Was this all related to the locked Pokéballs? So many questions and Arashi felt powerless without answers to any of them. She figured a trip to the Pokémon Center, a communal area, would be her best bet at finding some.

As AK walked through the empty streets of Pallet Town, desolate and empty in the early morning hours, the sky lighting up a faint red, as if even the sky was afraid of what was coming. He was quiet, letting the silence engulf him. Though he loves being loud, and energetic, he liked to take this early time for himself. but as he rounded a corner, a strange feeling overtook him, and he jerked to a stop. "What the-" He was standing in front of the viridian gym. "This.... Isn't Pallet town." He looked around, confused. since it was early in the morning, the city seemed empty. he sighed, and moved along, deciding to stay here for a bit . "Well, I need to think how Giovanni needs to be taken down. I can't do it with only Greninja. He's powerful, sure, but not nearly strong enough. if only...." He sighed, and stuffed his hands inside of the pockets of his hoodie, and sat down in front of the gym.

Sky eventually landed on the ground in front of the Pokecenter. "Finally, I caught up to you. You okay?" I picked him up and he perched himself on my shoulder. "Well, I guess we should head in and asked around." I walked in and took in the strange surroundings. Having been raised in Korīnotø, I instinctively turned left expecting to see the map that would normally be on the left wall. "Crap. This looks like a Kantonian Pokecenter design." Thank Arceus I had a weird obsession with architecture. I walked over and sat at one of the tables, scoping out the social scene to try to decide who to talk to.

AK was in the pokecenter a few hours later, leaning on the wall, when he saw a girl walk into the pokecenter, she seemed confused for a few seconds, probably looking for the map, and then she realized her mistake and turned. AK decided to be quiet. she sat down at a table, and seemed to look around, trying to figure out who to talk to. He just stayed where he was.

After getting a good scope on everyone there, I decided to try my luck with the guy leaning on the wall. "Hey, do you know where this is?"

AK looked at the girl talking to him. "Oh, here? This is Viridian city, In the Kanto region. Why d'ya ask?" "Do you not know where you are? It's dangerous to be in places you don't know in these times."

Viola never imagined one day she would be in Kanto, a region so far away from Galar. But here she was, standing in a place she didn't know. she searched her bag and found the familiar scratched red and white pokeball.
She was just walking back from Wedgehurst station when she was suddenly in a different place. Pulling out her phone she thought she could pull up a map but she didn't have any wifi around here, yet. She decided it was a best idea to head to a pokecenter and find a region map there.

Hex sitting behind a tree quietly his cape softly wrapped around him as they were fiddling with their pokeballs on the ground letting out a small sign. shade there Haunter that luckily wasn't locked out from him they spin around hex, trying to cheer him up before just returning to a sad look with him as they think about their ghosts friend that was lock behind pokeball unlike him Mismagius, dusclops, Banette, and mimikyu oh how shade miss playing with them as hex miss seeing them...

But his pondering doesn't last long as they feel the tree disappear behind their back, falling onto the payment floor as shade lets out a concern "haunt!"

"Ow" hex murmur as they get up noticing the tree was long gone in fact there in a city now? Letting out a "ummm-" before noticing a sign saying for viridian city. Hex didn't want to question if they did they would be here all day, still Standing in front of the sign shade Taps on his shoulder pointing at the Pokecenter as hex nods in response "yeah let go...". Wrapping his cape around himself again, hoping not to be noticed they slowly walked away towards the center with shade hovering behind.

From the scratched pokeball, Viola could hear a familiar cry of the spy lizard, crying out to be released. "Not now, Meso." She started, holding the pokeball closer to her. "We don't know if this is a good region or not, they could kidnap you. That team rocket I keep hearing about."

AK shrugged. "Or maybe you got teleported here? Hahah that's a possibility, innit? But, that couldn't happen again, i'm sure you weren't teleported." He said, grinning. "That's probably just me overthinking stuff." AK shrugged. "Or maybe there's like tons of trainer being randomly teleported to Viridian for some strange reason. I don't know."

As the pokecenter came closer, the cries of Meso demanding to be relased. Viola sighed and got ready to throw her pokeball out into a hidden cluster of bushes. "Only if you promise to stay invisible okay?" she said, watching her pokeball shake in response. "I'll even give you your favorite berry after we're safe."

with that she gently rolled the Pokeball into the bush and watched her tall lizard partner appear. It gave a thumbs up before going invisible and following Viola inside

AK looked out the window and saw a person toss a pokeball, an Inteleon coming out. Her voice was muffled, but AK knew something was up. Inteleons were pokemon from the Galar region, far away from Kanto. So... What was a trainer with one doing here? Of course they could have travelled here on their own, but what with him appearing here, this girl who didn't seem to know where she was... AK thought otherwise.

Inside the pokemon center it was different from what she was used to. It was so clean and white, and there was only one desk for nurse Joy to be healing pokemon. Galar's pokemon centers had a cafe, pokeshop, and Nurse joy, so this new layout was new to her.

picking up a Map she sat down and started reading, trying to figure out where Meso was right now. probably in some corner or under tables where no one would go. Maybe even hanging from the ceiling.

AK sat down at a table, looking around the pokecenter when the girl came in. He started to look around the pokecenter, looking for people that didn't seem to belong here. only the girl he was talking to a bit earlier and the girl that just came in seemed out of place. he pulled his scarf over his mouth and nose, to keep him warm against the air conditioning of the Pokecenter.

Hex here's a clunk of something roll but they don't seem to care much about it as all they is confusion right now.

Shade twirl himself through the door as a ghost they of course he could fade into stuff, hex shakes his head has he remarks "what have I told you about doing that we are not trying to scare anyone here!" Sighing as they Stumble in not noticing vloia immediately.

Shade letting himself out a giggle as hex walks over to him shaking their head "well aren't you a jokester" but this doesn't last long, as shades eye soon grasped on a girl reading some map. Hex gives a confuse eye "what are you-" before they're purple eyes pierce toward viola "oh" hex Whispers.

Reading the map, Viola managed to figure out where she was right now. Verdian City seemed like a nice name. She looked up at the ceiling, having a strange feeling Meso was somehow up there, watching every movement she did. Taking the opputunity Viola took a photo of the Kanto Map in case she lost it.

still invisible to the human eye, Meso was looking at all the pokemon coming in. Some he never saw before.

Rye was sitting on the beach in Aloa the waves where refreshing after a hard day of train his Pokémon. His Tiranitar was next to him watching the water. Rye had closed his eyes to take a nap but woke up near a Pokémon center. He hummed a little to see his Pokémon where gone. Rye hesitated and wondered what happened and soon saw one Pokeball. He didn’t bother seeing who it was and walked into the Pokémon center. Wandering around he grabbed a map and studied it.
