Backstory: Her mother was Greek and named her after the Greek Goddess of hunting and wild animals, Artemis. She used to adventure all the time in the woods with her mother when she was young. Her dad was a strong Japanese man who taught her how to fight. When the Earth started to crumble, her family sadly died and she fled to the city of Arpia which is located near the Arpian Forest. Artemis has been living there ever since.

Backstory: Fought in arena. Then became part of elite squad protecting the king. After the king died, he, and the others of the elite squad were hunted down. Everyone apart from him and the leader of the elite squad were killed. They went their separate ways. After hearing that there might be a legendary weapon that can kill monsters, he goes there to try and find it.

Canna is around the 5'5 (165cm) mark and, despite her smoking habits, retains a lean athletic build. She has ruby-coloured eyes and black hair, of which the tips are dyed, yet faded, crimson. The clothes on her back, shoes on her feet, everything she now owns and carries is a product of theft. Whilst she'd never openly boast about it, she considers it to be something that she's good at. But, considering the Earth's current state, does it really matter now?

With anyone? (optional): She's currently navigating the ruined city with a stray dog she's named Faolán (meaning 'little wolf'), but would probably be open to joining someone once trusted.
Backstory: Canna O'Hara had a 'family' - the people whom she lived after she was essentially orphaned at a young age when her biological parents were imprisoned - before fleeing one night, around the age of sixteen. At the time, she was (as they claimed) 'at the bottom of the pack', gaining the nickname 'Omega', which she now despises so, so much. Because of this status, she was often the one subjected to the abuse of her higher-ups. To this day, she doesn't know of their current situation, or if they're even alive; however, she does know that she wishes not to speak of those days.

Appearance: Erin stands at a relatively average height of 5'9, with a somewhat muscular build. He maintains a skiny look with baggy sweatshirts and pants, as he prefers that he doesn't appear more than average. He has light brown, medium length hair that almost reaches his shoulders, but he usually wears it up. Erin also has jade-green eyes, which don't show signs of fatigue or anything of the such.

Backstory: Although he looks really well off and strangely positive in the world's current state, he's never had it easy. He was born with a condition that didn't allow him to feel fear, putting him in more danger than he could handle. Also, his parents were manipulative, as well as addicts, which made it hard for him to be a normal person growing up. Due to the violent nature of his home life, he had to leave early, having only his friend and their family to go to. For about 3 years he's lived a relatively normal life with them, until the apocalypse hit, killing the family and leaving him alone. The rest is tbrpd

Appearance: Zelda is an average height of 5'8. She wears a pink coat and a yellow checkered dress. Zelda has dirty-blond hair which is tied up into two pigtails that sit on her shoulders. She also has blue/hazel eyes and fear skin with a few freckles and slight bags under her eyes.

Backstory: Zelda grew up without a mother and her father was never really in the picture so her aunt and uncle looked after her, when the apocalypse hit her aunt and uncle went missing and she was left alone to defend for herself.

Not currently, though they will catch feelings for someone later in the RP (it's my character don't worry)
Backstory:
Gino is actually not from this time at all, and is in fact from 200 years in the past. They gained the ability of time travel due to the emerald amulet known in ancient lore as the Traveler's Charm, a beautiful relic believed lost to time, ironically. It appeared to Gino as a child, and they'd been able to time travel ever since. However, when they traveled to here, the amulet cracked and presumably broke, becoming unusable. Now stuck in this time, Gino learned how to behave to suit the others, and adapted quickly to the desolate lands that exist now.
Other:
Gino is a quiet and calculating type, often hiding away in their metaphorical shell and preferring to stay out of trouble, however they are extremely sharp and very keen to learn, and have a high intelligence than what is considered 'average'. They also have a blue heeler dog named Arrow whom they found trapped in the Arpian Forest, cornered by monsters. They rescued him and he began following them around, so they decided to take Arrow with them and the two soon bonded well.

Backstory:
Coby comes from a very prestigious family of high social standing. He went to a special private high school for gifted students, he lived in a castle with his mother, father, younger sister, and two older brothers. He's always loved science and engineering, and he has a large imagination, and ever since he was 12 he's been inventing, designing, and constructing machines with surprising accuracy and efficiency. He never truly felt as if he fit in though. He always felt pressured to fill his family's shadow, and nobody at school truly wanted to be his friend. He was either approached by people who only wanted to use him or was avoided altogether. He learned how to read people's true intentions the hard way. His parents never gave him all that much attention- his older brothers were much more aspiring and successful than him, and he was always being compared to them, and his little sister Kaia was always so obviously the favorite. Nevertheless, he did his best and chose his own destiny, and moved out as soon as he could. Then, it all fell apart, and he never saw any of his family again.
Other:
A much more outgoing person, though he did build up a protective shell due to his heritage, Coby has a wide imagination and oftentimes a thick skull, usually leaping before he looked, and making reckless decisions based on impulse alone. He usually follows his gut, though his instincts aren't quite sharp enough to survive alone, which is where he met Gino. Even for Coby's irresponsibility, he is a quick thinker and light on his feet when it counts, and has gotten the two of them out of multiple sticky situations (not counting the amount of those he had gotten them INTO as well).
