You really can't effectively build any character until AR 45-50.
Just remember to not waste materials, collect everything you see and, most important, not to spend any fragile resin.

I got Kazuha today. He's level 90 with 9/9/9 talents now.
and I also got Kuki and Haizhou

Not to mention my bennett got Alley Flash so I'm happy..

The thing is, I'm AR25 with about 30K AR Experience saved up because I can't complete the Ascension Quest yet. I'm working on getting my main team ascended and leveled up first

The problem with your team seems to be that there's 2 electro. It will be hard to beat the electro cube like that in the ascension quest.
I'd suggest going for a cryo in there.

On the other hand, if you dont have any other good characters you can use, just get a ton of food buffs and hope for the best. Im pretty sure i painstakingly made it through that quest with only my main (Anemo Aether) because I ran out of revive food ;p

Finally got Xinyan ascended for the first time. Had to hunt the violetgrass. XD Today I'll be farming to get some... I forget what it's called. The little blue fragments to ascend Kaeya again. He's my main so far.
