A strange power seemed to fill Roran and Winter's blades. They started to glow, and with a single, well-aimed slash, Roran managed to take out the younger Houndour, while Winter struck the Bisharp. It and the dragonair still remained standing, but it was clear they were being overwhelmed by the sheer number of attackers fighting them. The criminals also seemed to have underestimated their opponents, not expecting so many of them to be this strong. The Outsiders had never met most of these Pokémon before.

Nova smirked from behind Floofy's furry tail. She could see the mean Pokémon weren't expecting this much of a beatdown.

Yung fired an Aura Sphere, and used his aura to sense out and create temporary barriers if needed. Since they had the numbers, the shields he casted we mostly to protect those who stayed back. He refrained from using any magic.

Likewise, Emerald was refraining from using magic as well. He leapted at the Bisharp with the axe he was holding and took a great swing at the Bisharp. There was plenty of force behind the attack.

Lumi was focused on making sure everyone was healed up. She was digging through her bag for healing supplies and organising them so they could be taken out in quick fashion.

Shade stabbed the Bisharp, Blitz then slashed at the Dragonair with great strength. Usually they wouldn’t use their weapons instead attacks but they just want it to be over with.

The Outsiders, wasted no time swiftly dodging the attacks by leaping backward. As they were about to advance again for another move, Roran quickly turned to Winter.

"I have an idea." He hissed quickly. "You know the way to the guild, so lead the others back while I hold them off. "If you can, get Obsidian to back me up." He ordered his apprentice.

Winter nodded, falling back, whispering. "Did you guys hear that? Let Roran handle the Outsiders for now, I'll lead you guys to the Guild base. It's too dangerous to waste time."

Emerald wasted little time retreating, pulling back to follow Lumi, who was already retreating away from the conflict, ready to follow Winter.

Yung had intended to stay and provide cover for those seeking the way to the guild, in order to hide it, but he also leapt back, though he purposely placed himself further away from Winter, while still close, in case things went awry.

Shade shrugged “Ight guess I’m following y’all.” Shade and Blitz dashed away from the fight though not as fast as they’d usually be going “Hopefully those pokemon aren’t strong enough to take em down.”

Winter glanced back. "We won't be long. Roran just has to keep them away long enough for us to get help." Winter had no doubt the group together would be able to beat the Outsiders that had attacked, but he could understand Roran's reasoning. The risk was just too high. They couldn't afford to get too badly injured out here. He led the way on a weaving trail, wracking his brain to find a way to loose the Outsiders and still get to the base safely.

The trio followed at a close distance. They hadn't much to say at the moment, with all their focus being to get to safety, away from the harshness of the mountain winds, as well as the threat of the Outsiders. Yung stayed near the back while Emerald and Lumi stuck much closer to the others.

Shade felt sorta bad for leaving Roran behind, but kept on going “Alrignt, if you say so.”

Blitz followed behind Shade abit worried for Roran

After a bit of running through the mountains, Winter spotted another landmark. He skidded to a halt, huffing. He turned to the others, signaling them to stop. He walked up to a small boulder, and started rapidly tapping it.

Emerald tilted his head as Winter tapped the rock. He waited for it to open...

Yung was looking behind him. He was a little worried for Roran admittedly, though he had faith that the Alolan Ninetales was very strong.

Winter rolled his eyes. After a few moments, a familiar, at least to a couple of them, face of a Dusk Lycanroc greeted them from under the rock.

"It was foretold you would be here." She barked. "Come in, quickly, before anyone sees you loitering out here." She stepped aside to let them in.

Emerald cracked a light smile at Shade's tomfoolery before he went and rushed inside at the Lycanroc's request, with Yung and Lumi following close behind. So this was the guild that Emerald had been in once before... Yung was dealing with his thoughts as he ran in. It had been a while since he had explored a mountain.

Winter was quick to report that Roran had been left behind to fight the Outsiders and would need backup soon. The Lycanroc nodded.

"I'll send some of my Guild members right away. OPAL! DIAMOND!" She howled, summoning two unusual rockruff to her. "Gather some of our members to help Roran fight off those thugs, and mind you don't lead them back here." She ordered. The two Rockruff nodded and raced off. The guild leader turned to them. "You, follow me to my office, I have some things to discuss."

The trio would follow the Lycanroc to the office, wondering what was going to be discussed. Hopefully more about the tragedy and the prophecy...and maybe more hints in general.

The office was rather simply made. A large, flat rock served as a desk of sorts, layed across it were various scrolls and trinkets such as gemstones. The Lycanroc sat behind it with a sigh. "For those who haven't met me before. I am Obsidian, the leader of the Mountain Rescuers. It would seem you have come regarding the Sparks of the Eclipse prophecy, is that correct?"

"Correct." Yung spoke up here. "We came due to that particular...prophecy, if that's the correct word for it. And also...some of our legendary friends has also vanished into the waking mist."

Emerald looked at Obsidian, he had met them once before and they seemed imposing. He hadn't talked to them much though. Hadn't had much of an opportunity to.
