Emerald stood ever that closer to Floofy so that he had rested his paws on Floofy as he walked, almost leaning into him. He almost closed his eyes as he walked, taking in the warmth.

“A rock with a clawmark. Got it.” Yung said as he went around, trying to spy out something amidst the falling snow. Lumi seemed to have heard this also, and had already started digging around, not considering that it could be a large rock, not able to be picked up.

"Right. Like that." Roran nodded approvingly, padding over. He sniffed the rock, the tiny thing that had been deeply lodged into the ground, specifically placed there to be small enough to miss if one wasn't looking for it, and large enough to be seen if you were. Roran positioned himself at different angles around the rocks, until he grunted with approval. "It should be smooth sailing from here." He reported enthusiastically. "Just follow me." He began leading the way.

Emerald continued to stick close to Floofy as he walked behind Roran. He could sense someone was on Floofy's back but decided not to say anything because Floofy either didn't seem to mind/knew who it was. That was all judged from his aura.

Yung and Lumi continued to follow. There wasn't much to say at this point...they just had to see the guild for themselves and make calls from there.

Shade just follows the group while doing a silly dance, Blitz facepalms “Shade, why do you keep doing that dance? I am not fusing with you right now.”

Shade shrugs “I don’t want to fuse, I just like the dance!” :p

It was then that suddenly Shade would feel an attack from behind.

Winter whipped around, hearing something attack. Instinctively, he felt ice grow inside his chest, cooling his body with an icy burn.

Nova jumped and shifted closer to Buttercup. Buttercup, Shadow, and Floofy had acted the most like parents to her, and Buttercup was the closest now. "Wh-what was that?" She stammered

“S-Shade?” Emerald jumped as he saw his friend get attacked. He immediately rushed over to him, looking worried, all his sadness gone in an instant.

Yung and Lumi whipped around, immediately ready to attack if needed. They were ready to defend themselves and the group if needed

Blitz perked his ears up and summoned his magic weapon, the Illusion Scythe, although small it was very strong… for a beginner Magic Class Weapon

The pokemon, that turned out to be a young houndour, growled menacingly. There was a clear black collar around the creature's neck, signifying a member of The Outsiders. He looked rather excited to be fighting them, not at all detured by the strong pokemon in their group.

Winter growled. Fire types were sort of a trigger for him. Even though it wasn't very effective, he sent forth the ice beam. Despite the disadvantage, it clearly damaged the fire type a lot.

Emerald sent a barrage of stars in the form of Swift. He wasn't about to let this enemy advance any further... Yung used Aura Sphere while Lumi... sent a small frost star to the Houndour.

Shade got up and summoned his Flaming Knife “Your free trial of life has ended.” Shade threw the knife at it’s eye

Blitz sighed and ran it up to it and sliced at it with the scythe

With a growl, the houndour kicked Shade and Blitz away with surprising strength. Despite all the attacks, the creature held strong, showing that, despite its age and lack of intelligence, this houndour was a powerful one indeed. Its fangs lit up, and it charged a fire fang. Before it could attack, though, a voice called from behind.

"Hey rookie! What have I told you about attacking random trespassers?" A female voice growled in frustration. "We can dispatch them easily, but you are gonna get your tail kicked!"

Emerald looked up… oh dear, this could get hairy really quickly if things didn’t change. Yung rushed closer to the front to stand near Emerald while Lumi stayed back to watch

Two Pokémon followed behind the houndour, much larger and more battle scarred than the the younger pokemon. The voice would turn out to be a large dragonair, and following her was a bisharp. Both had matching collars.

Winter could have sworn that dragonair...she matched a description one of the guild members had told him. Was she...no, she couldn't be...but...? He dug his paws into the earth, bracing himself.

Roran growled and confronted them. "Outsiders!" He hissed, his fur started the glitter as he prepared to fight. "You were fools to confront us!"

The dragonair glared at the houndour. "Now look what you've done!" She took on an attack pose. "Very well then. Prepare to get your butts kicked, or smacked!" Her crystals began to light up. "Kill them! Then we can have a sparkly blue warrior coat to hang on our wall!"

Yung grimaced. “Well now… A fight you shall get then.” He closed his eyes an got ready to fire an Aura Sphere. “Repent, and sleep.”

The Outsiders advanced. They clearly lived up to the rumors, startlingly powerful with their hard hitting attacks. They weren't skilled in the art of playing fair, and weren't above cheap tricks. Roran and Winter were well aware of this, and drew their swords. Kiro had managed to give the blades a special power, albeit limited.

Kiwi took on an attack stance, spreading her paws to be more evenly balanced. "Nova, stay back!" On a silent order, the other Members attacked. Save Floofy, who stayed to guard Nova. The Flareon was known for not liking to take part in violence, even here.

Yung had now charged the Aura Sphere, letting it float lazily above his paw. He had his left paw on the scabbard on his hilt...

Lumi stayed back with Nova and Floofy...she wanted to support from behind.

Emerald held out an iron axe...it looked a bit big for him but he was actually managing somewhat well.

Shade shrugs
