"Thank you!" Said Margo happily, following the Bolthund. "How is
your earbud doing that? do you have powers? How old are you?" She
thought for a moment. "Are you a nice person, or are you mean? Are
you tryina kidnap me cuz I'm so cute?"
The boltund turned. "Hmm?" Was his first response to all the
questions. "First, I'm actually a psychic type, though most people
don't know at first glance. Second, I'm about 36. Third, I consider
myself pretty okay! And no I'm not gonna kidnap you...though I
wouldn't tell you if I was!" He chuckled. "Just kidding, but I
really wouldn't have anywhere to take a hostage, don't worry." The
boltund grinned. Upon a closer look, he
looked...diferent. "Anywayz..." he hummed. "There's some wrapping
paper inside, if you want me to show ya!"
Nau surprised at the sudden appearance of the Rockruff replied "Oh,
hello there. Nice to meet you. You're one of the other pokemon in
the investigation group correct? My name is Nau" Nau gave a slight
bow then held out a hand to the Rockruff to shake their paw. He was
acting the best he can to make a good first impression, since Oren
was the first one he meet out of all the others
Yes PLEASE!" Shouted the exited little Umbreon, prancing behind the
bolthund. After a moment to inhale, she continued the torrent of
questions. "My name is Margo! What's yours? Why do you look funny?
And how do you remember all the things I'm asking you?" She
continued rambling on, only pausing for breath when they entered
the building.
"Yep!" Oren said happily. "I'm Oren!" He didn't shake his paw but
instead happily ran around him, showing his youthfulness all with a
big goofy smile on his face. All this implied how young he was; he
just wanted to meet everyone and make friends. "I came with
Emerald! He's in the sweet store!"
"I'm a psychic type, memory is sorta my forte." The Boltund
explained. "And I'm actually a fusion of three pokemon...a hybrid?
Tribrid? I don't know. Anyways, here!" He led her to an aisle of
gift supplies, where wrapping paper was displayed in huge rolls. He
pointed with his paw. "It's pretty cheap, too!"
Winter stuck near Emerald. "We should probably be gathering
everyone to head back." He murmured, glancing out the candy store's
windows, noting the sun rising. "It's getting late. Typhoon'll want
us back for that mission soon."
"Awesome!" squeaked Margo, happily grabbing one of the smaller
rolls of neon green paper. "Thanks, mister, I have just enough PD
to get it!" She Bought the paper and walked out the door.
Later, in her dorm
Margo was individually wrapping the candies in the box, and already
had a huge pile next to her. She still had plenty of wrapping
paper, and would probably have lots left.
"Ah it's a shame this store didn't have the giant gummies..."
Emerald murmured. "But these star gummies will do." He looked back
at Winter, noticing what Winter just said. "Oh! Uh...yeah we should
head back..." He nodded, and tapped his foot slightly. "We aren't
that far right?"
"Nope!" The vulpix replied. "Just a few blocks away." He began
making his way out of the store, trotting down the street.
Typhoon was waiting patiently for them at the hotel, and made sure
everyone had arrived before speaking. "Alright. You've had time
enough to get settled. Now on to the mission at hand!" He flicked
his green tail toward the direction of the 'haunted' school. "Shall
we go?"
Margo hopped in her seat, excited to go explore. her bag bounced on
her back, making her words sound strange. She couldn't wait to go
and see what all that was! As she looked around, she spotted that
weird-looking vulpix and trotted over to him. "Hi there, vulpix! I
don't remember your name, but here!" She handed him one of the
wrapped candies. "THis is for all my new friends!. And all the
other students at the school. . . But here!"
Arashi suddenly barked. "Attention Loomian Explores! You should
have had plenty of time to eat now." She made her way toward the
Exit, the Duskit behind her. "We depart!"
