The kingdom of Phanteria was once a prosperous place. There was riches beyond compare, food to feed the kingdome for centuries, and no wars touched the peaceful kingdom. All in all, it was a wonderful place, ruled by a wonderful man. King Taurus was known as one of the greatest kings to ever hold the title in the entire land. He was firm, but gentle in his reign, with a heart set on justice and peace. He would let no wrong doing go unpunished, but always looked for the peaceful solution. Under King Tarus's reign, evrey farm was prosperous, evrey storehouse full, and all considered him to be a great king. But, all good things must come to an end.

One day, without warning, like a great storm cloud, there came an unkown assilant. As quiet and invisible as the wind, she simply marched through their gates, dark magic hiding her and her soldiers. This was a force that none of them had reckoned for. Etheria, as she called herself, immieadiently stormed the castle. After that day, no one saw King Tarus come out of his castle, despite his reputation of frequent visits into the city. It was as if he had compleltley and utterly vanished. No one offered even the slightest hint of resistence as the now Queen Etheria took rule. Her undead soldiers, who brought the stench of those no longer living brought unaturally from the grave with them, infested the city, taking the place of the once friendly soldiers who had faithfully guarded the peasents. Queen Etheria's reign brought a terrible, terrible new era.

It seemed as if there was no hope. The Royal Court was held hostage in the castle, swords to their throats as they continued to live on, hoping not to anger Queen Etheria. While there were some who adjusted quickly, swearing fealty to the new ruler and bowing under her submissive rule, living like cowards beneath her thumb as she used them for her own gain, there were others who stalled, pushing away that invietable question-Would they take faith that someone would come to the rescue, or accept this fate? Which one of these are you?

There are rumors...faint, tiny whisps that travel in hushed tones amoung the villagers. Of a band of robbers. Despite their less then honest work, they could be the ones who saved the kingdom from Queen Etheria. Others are desperate enough to belive the stories of a the Dark Hero, the heir of the Serpent King who could either destroy or save the world. Which one are you?

Description: 5'2'', large bright green eyes with a gold undertone, somewhat long, slightly wavy, tawny-brown hair, ivory skin, heart shaped face; (x). When in public, she wears a carmine evening dress with an intricate golden sash clasped around the waist (x), pearl colored flats, and various pieces of black accent jewelry, as well as varying between having her hair down and pinning it up, this done simply based on how she may be feeling that day.
Personality: 'Isolde' means 'ice ruler', and such was the daughter her mother hoped for when choosing that name, wishing for it to fit the girl bearing it, for her to be an aloof, respectable, cold, regal lady. Isolde, however, is fiery. From her demeanor to her preference for the color crimson, she is a burning ember, quick to have her temper flare up but just as quick to smile. Boredom is a major irritation of hers, and she may go out of her way to spark some new intriguing occurrence, though this is typically in the form of conflict. So long as the orders of her superiors keep her interested, she is quite content to follow along, though perhaps, should she tire of any sense of monotony sourced from them, may deliberately slip up, simply to see what happens.

Description: Lanky, 5'5'', teal eyes (x), oval shaped face, wavy, dark brown hair, soft vitiligo dapples all over her warm beige skin (x). Her typical attire is a flexible, somewhat loose pale brownish-green dress with dark brown details, brown leather boots, a dark brown leather belt, and wraps on her hands to aid her in her archery. Overall, she looks quite like (x), but with aforementioned teal eyes and vitiligo. She generally has a brown quiver of arrows slung over her right shoulder.
Personality: Generally soft, quiet, and really rather meek, her demeanor is very unobtrusive and non-offensive. She is quite willing to follow most rulings. Under the surface, however, is a young woman with strong convictions who will kill without remorse for what she believes in. Though difficult to aggravate, if her anger is peaked, it is a blazing fury, one to be feared, and slow to rescind. Loyalty is essential to her, though in her mind this means loyalty to a specific person or to one's moral code, and as such, following the rules blindly may not always meet her definition, leading her to, in some extreme cases, defy law for what she believes to be the greater good. She is also very emotional, bonding quickly with others, and has a deep love for her family, which she is the main supporter of due to health issues of both her parents. Peregrine is highly self-conscious with regards to her dappled skin, which is seen as a curse of sorts by her mother.

Description: Til stands at a hefty 6'5", with broad shoulders and a thick, set jaw. Grey hair sets many reeling when he tells them his age, and piercing blue eyes watch them stumble.
Personality: Til dreams of one day mastering a magical art, though he's had little success in teaching himself much of anything. He knows that certain symbols do certain things, but his hunger for magical knowledge has always kept him searching scriptures for any knowledge that he deems useful. This has kept him mostly secluded, until called upon or ordered away from the libraries and historical documentaries, hence giving him a bit of an arrogant first impression to others.

Description: Leanna is a plain-looking brown-haired girl with amber eyes. Often styling her hair in a neat braid, she wears simple yet stylish clothing, loving to wear dress shirts and skirts along with sundresses and jumpers, but she never dresses in the same overdone style as some of those in the court, nor does she lounge in loose, generic clothing. She stands at around five feet tall and likes it that way.
Personality: Leanna is a fairly quiet girl, but still social; although she doesn't talk much unless spoken to, she is very friendly, and is generally thought to be a very sweet, innocent young girl. She has a passion for art and is often seen with a sketchbook in hand, although she is shy about sharing her work. A hopeless romantic, she crushes on most boys her age, especially those who initiate conversation with her or appreciate her artwork or clothing choice. However, she isn't quite as pure as the adults around her would guess; she actually has a bit of a sadistic streak, only truly worrying about those who she cares deeply about.

Description: A somewhat short young man at around 5'11", Emmett has wavy light brown hair that falls just around his chin, and it is as wild as his personality. Usually sporting a somewhat fancy waistcoat and riding pants along with boots, he maintains a rather scholarly look while also seeming athletic and posh at the same time. His only accessory (other than the stack of books he carries almost all of the time) is a strap around his thigh that holds his weapon.
Personality: Emmett is a bit all over the place, as one might expect from a brand new young adult. He loves to learn and especially values history, which is why he is both extremely angry with and frightened of Etheria, because he knows exactly the types of dark paths her continued reign could cause. A bit of a doormat but also having a hot temper when riled up, Emmett is a walking contradiction, but his heart is in the right place. Even if he's...well, on the strange side. People often wonder whether he's actually researching famous murders and unsolved stories for the fun of it or...for actual research. They find out if they ever see him pull his weapon.
Weapon?: A little annoyed by the stereotype that bookish people are inept at self-defense and combat, Emmett naturally turned to his research for an answer. What he discovered...was the three-sided knife.
