Gia walked up to the fire, it crackle as it died. Everything
always dies, she thought, Fire just does it slower. Gia
sat down, with her hands around the fire, she wasn't cold, she
simply enjoyed the feeling of warmth.
Gia turned to the grassy plains, it wasn't Liyue without grassy
plains, and certainly wasn't Liyue with its waters. Her father told
her about a great journey he had saved her mother, whom she never
knew, out of the current of Liyue's Harbor. It was nice to hear his
stories, Gia enjoyed every slang of the letter 'a' or every creak
in her father's voice.
I may seem like a bunch of useless text, but I LIVE HERE and I

Xin Sui looked sympathetic. "Master?" she asks. She says something
quiet in native Fontaine. I understand what you're feeling right
now. You don't trust me, and you have no reason to. But it sounds
like following this instruction from your master will force you to
break another contract. While it may seem like it is not your
choice, you must consider another factor. If you fear, at all,
breaking contracts and dishonoring the late god of geo, you must
consider this. Rex Lapis stood not only for contracts, but for
justice. Or to be more specific, justice within contracts. she
looks sad for another moment. "At least consider it before you
leave.
Zephyr seemed to frown a little, seeing Akane tire herself out
meant that there would be one person less to protect the group. He
wondered if he should try to help her regain some of her energy
with his dendro magic, yet there were some risks to it as well so
he didnt do anything yet
"Alright, this way." Akane says, shaking the dizziness out of her
head. "We're almost to a point where I can teleport.... or at least
try to teleport us to the camp." she says, trying to be cheerful.
She gestures for everyone to follow her, and the group continues on
there way. She occasionally stops and her eyes glow red. "Elemental
traces." she mutters, seeing a confused look.
Letting out a breath, ZhongYun felt their shoulders slump as they
nodded. They had revealed too much, but it had felt nice to finally
speak their mind for once. But one thing was clear, they would have
to talk with Jekylline and decide what to do from here on out.
"Sorry, for bringing the mood down. But I suppose for now we'll
have to impose on you for a bit longer and stay the night." They
finally settled on saying, bowing.
Neptune kept walking with her, carrying his brother carefully. his
eyes narrowed as he saw her be confused "is something the matter:?"
concern could be seen in his eyes as he balanced the weight on his
back to move more, one of his hands ready to grab the great sword
that was always in his reach
Xin Sui bows her head. "It is not imposing, if I invited you." she
says. She turns around for a moment, and lets out a breath. "She
will be in that tent." she says, pointing to the healers tent.
"She'll be with Xing Hua. A healer. Let her rest for a little bit.
You too should rest. You'll do her no good in your exhausted
state."
Akane pauses. Could she really tell him? "I... nothing. Just a
bit... disconcerted is all." she says. She shifts her grip on the
Jade Winged Spear. "Also tired. I used my skill twice and then my
burst, and barely gave myself time to rest." she says, pulling at
the black fingerless glove she had on her right hand.
Zephyr looked at her "I could try to give you some energy... It
sometimes works.. although my Vision sometimes doesnt work the way
I´d like to" He offered, concerned about her wellbeing. Neptune
glanced at him "You´d create elemental traces. Its not safe."
Zephyr sighed a little
"Thanks for the offer but I'm fine." she says, smiling a bit.
Akane's eyes glow red again. "I think we're far enough now. I think
I can teleport us." she says. The fear flicks through her gaze for
about a second before disappearing. She closes her eyes for a
second and leans against a tree.
Neptune watched quietly , letting go of Zephyr who stood on his
own, even if he was leaning against his brother, the weight on
Neptunes back was gone and he´d be able to fight the fatui, if any
were to attack. His silver hair once more glimmed in the dim light,
his eyes stern, almost cold like always, his icy glare shimmering
in his blue, ocean like eyes
Akane looks back at Neptune, draws in a breath and closes her eyes
again. She spins her polearm in a circular motion as fast as she
can, and the group is ringed in pyro. "Camp, camp, camp, camp,
camp." she thinks over and over. The heat from the fire forces
everyone's eyes closed. When they open them again, they are
standing just outside of the camp. Akane promptly collapses against
a rock.
Nodding their thanks, ZhongYun sighed and trudged towards the
healers tent. As promised, Jekylline was inside mostly healed and
only nursing a small knot on her neck that she was working out.
"How are you?" They asked immediately to wich they received a huff
and a thumbs up. The two quietly say in a corner, mumbling in low
voices as to not disturb anyone else
Neptune quickly goes over, offering her his arm to help her walk
the rest of the way. He did expect an outcome like this but seeing
her collapse made him a little more worried than he had expected.
Zephyr seemed to notice his worry //Has he finally found someone
else he wants to protect// He wondered but quickly shook that
thought off //Not that quickly. he´s not one to trust others easily
after all//
Akane is to tired to snap. She sighs. "Thanks." she says finally.
Sighing heavily she stands up, her legs shaking. It it weren't for
Neptune she would have collapsed and probably hit her head. "Come
on." she says, and she leads the group into the camp. "Hi." she
says to Xin Sui. "By the hand of the archons, are you alright?" she
asks, basically tackling her. "Yes Xin Sui, I am fine. And I
brought some friends." Akane mutters, gesturing to Neptune, Zephyr
and Asuka. "I am Xin Sui, thank you for taking care of this stupid
ad- sorry, of Akane." she says, glancing at Neptune.
"I´m Neptune.." he replied, letting go of Akane once Xin Sui was
with her, seeming rather tense again. If it werent For Zephyr
limping over and patting his back to signal that he could trust
these people, he would have drawn his sword right there. "Sorry for
him he´s. rather protective.. I´m Zephyr" the Dendro user smiled
shortly, his cracked vision glistening as a bit of light hit it
Xin Sui dips her head in a traditional fashion. "As I said, I am
Xin Sui, I ran the Liyue archives." she says. "You are welcome
here." she says to both, but mainly Zephyr. "Is there anything you
need to start?" she asks politely. She smiles pleasantly at the
siblings.
Zephyr nodded a little "Medical attention maybe...? I´ve hurt my
leg while escaping springvale ... Well my vision cracked so healing
doesnt really work on me anymore.. So maybe that could be a good
thing to start off with.?" The dendru user gave her a smile as
well, while Neptune looked around, his gaze wandering , eyeing the
others that were present. Although it wasnt a long stare like he
normally did, he still wanted to take a look
"Sure. Xing Hua is our resident healing expert, I can take you to
her soon. First, I'd like to hear your story. And do not leave out
the details." she says, sitting down at a table and inviting the
other's to join her. "Can I please go lay down?" Akane asks with a
groan, looking more and more miserable as the minute's pass. "Yes."
Akane stumbles off into a red tent. Xin Sui looks after her,
worried.
Zephyr nodded, pulling Neptune with him "Youre staring" he
whispered, Neptune looked at him "I know I am." Zephyr sighed and
sat down with her, Neptune besides his brother "Soo... our story it
is then?" he looked at her, Neptune didnt say anything
Xin Sui snaps her head back to them. "If you please." she says with
a dip of her head. She eyes sparkle purple when she moves her head
slightly. She keeps shooting glances at the tent Akane had gone
into. "By the way, what did she do? Element wise I mean." she asks
quietly, as if not wanting Akane to hear.
