Eva hopped over to another tree to listen to the conversation about
contracts and breaking them. she was interested, having never heard
them before. Keeping her Polearm safe from falling she remained in
the trees, hiding from view
"Stop." Xin Sui says, suddenly standing up. Her eyes flick from
side to side. "I sense a presence." she announces to ZhongYun. She
flicks her wrist and her eyes are suddenly purple pools. She flicks
her wrist again. "There." she says, pointing in Eva's general
direction. The girl had been very quiet, but Xin Sui has a bit of a
talent for... sight. Her eyes return to normal.
Eva remained in the foliage of the tree. just how did they find
her? her clothing did consist of greens and a tiny bit of sky blue
so it should be imposible, right?
Snapping their jaw shut, ZhongYun stood up and with a flash (and
here, ZhongYun almost expected to hear the soft rumble of the earth
again, the rolling soil at their beck and call but it was
inevitable that their ears were now deaf to the sounds of the rock)
a polearm appeared, the soft yellow glow comforting in a way. If
they closed their eyes, they could imagine the earth calling to
them, showing where their opponent lay but behind closed eyelids,
they could only see darkness. Of course, their senses were sharp as
ever and they kept their ears open for any odd sound. "I don't
appreciate others listening in to my conversations. Did whoever
raise you not teach you basic manners?" They called out, hoping to
taunt Eva out
"..." Xin Sui stayed silent. Her vision seemed to glow a bit
brighter. Her elemental skill illuminated enemies... and
occasionally allies. That was how she had seen Eva. The girl was
very well hidden, but no one can hide from Xin Sui. "Come out and
we won't hurt you." she says softly, attempting to draw the girl
out.
Polearm in hand, the young free girl jumped out of the tree and out
into the open. She still didn't know how they found her, unless
they were using some sort of illegal magic? She spun the long
Polearm around her hand while she waited for anything. Just
anything.
"Okay, sure, let's go around," Gia said shakily. She followed Aspen
around and as she walked, the dark sky shined a great moon overhead
the two. The grass around Gia seemed only a tiny bit more fertile
than it did before and turned a darker shade of green. Of course,
Gia didn't notice as she was paying attention to following Aspen.

Neptune nodded a little "Yes of course. lead the way" he had
everything he needed to go with her.. Well they didnt have much
stuff anyways. most of their things were burned in the fire that
happened the day springvale was attacked. All of their posessions
could be carried in the bag on Zephyrs back.
As the two made their way around Dragonspine, Aspen noted all the
small changes he saw since he last was here. He tried his best to
keep the thoughts to himself, but he would make quiet comments that
he assumed Gia would have heard. Most of them were about the ever
changing nature, things like the river being higher or some of the
trees having polka dot holes from woodpeckers, but as they got
closer to the camp Aspen noticed small unnatural disturbances in
the snow across the river, the snow cleared out from an area and
signs of scorching on the ground. Aspen's sword felt heavy in its
hilt and he quickened his pace ever so slightly.
Taking in the sight of the person who had just dropped in, ZhongYun
slipped into a familiar stance, poearm tucked behind them and knees
sinking into a more stable and wide position. This way, they were
more prepared for a fight if it ever broke out, having habitually
fallen into such a position even going as far as standing between
Eva and Xin Sui like a dutiful shield. They too waited, biding
their time by analyzing their opponent and waiting to see what she
would do
"Nope." Akane said with a bitter smile. "We have to walk for a
little while longer before we can go back to camp." she says with a
shrug, again looking at Zephyr with sympathy in her gaze. "Alright
follow me." she says, starting in the direction of Dragonspine.
Xin Sui narrows her eyes. She carefully steps out from behind
ZhongYun and observes Eva. "Interesting. You bear traces of anemo
elemental energy." she murmurs. "It's been a long time since I've
met someone with an anemo vision." she said.
He took in a deep breath and tried to calm down. "I'm a bit of a
photographer." he answered, his voice too quick for his liking.
"When out, I'll try my best to take pictures of the area to
remember it." he slowed himself down. "You'll be fine," he
told himself. "It didn't look too recent, so they're probably
not there anymore," He then let himself focus on the sounds of
the river, which calmed him more than the mantras.
He took out the kamera from one of the pockets of his coat. The
object had small dents and the wooden body was slightly faded. "My
parents brought it with them when they moved here, and as I got
older they let me keep it. They said it was made in the nation they
were from, but I don't remember which one it was." he shrugged, and
put it back in his pocket. "The thing's older than me, but it still
works well."
Gia tilted her head and squinted her eyes, "I've never heard of
'photography' before. My father was never interested in that sort
of technology." Her boots created underneath the grass, "I suppose
that the knowledge of technology rubbed on me." Gia trilled,
smiling.

Aspen chuckled. "It's kind of like painting a picture, but a lot
quicker. I think they were popular where my parents were from, but
I don't know for sure." He rummaged in his pockets, and pulled out
a sheet of paper with some color on it. "Here's one of the photos
I've taken recently. It's a picture of a shipwreck I investigated
right before we met." The photo was grainy, but you could see that
there was a broken wooden hull on a beach. The wood was starting to
warp and there was evidence of crates inside the hull itself.
"You mean this?" Eva asked, holding out her vision. The sky blue
gem seemed to shine brightly and the beautiful patterns seemed to
soothe her. There was so much Eva didn't know about this girl. How
did they know she was a Anemo vision holder?
"Alright lets go then I guess!" Asuka said remembering her Two
brothers and as she was walking
She couldn't get it off her mind she looked very worry some as she
walked
She didn't wanna tell anybody about her brothers though only thing
she could say is that she was lost
Xin Sui raises an eyebrow. "Not a very good idea to go flashing
that around." she murmured. "But yes, that would be the anemo
vision I am speaking of." she says with a nod. She flicks her wrist
and what appears to be a barrier between ZhongYun and Eva appears
then disappears. Neither were even aware there was a barrier
between them.
Startled at the sudden shimmer as the barrier disappeared, ZhongYun
glanced over to Xin Sui almost wary now, their grip on the polearm
tightening for a moment before it was dispelled. Giving the woman a
stiff dip of the head in thanks, ZhongYun's trepidation lingered as
they warily kept their eye on the two. They hadn't noticed the
barrier at all and they had to wonder if it really was them being
too out of practice after an extended period of time away from the
battlefield or if the woman they had given some personal
information to was more dangerous than they had originally thought.
In either case, they were on guard.
Having found the tent that Xin Sui had pointed out, Jekylline
stumbled into it head pounding and movements sluggish. It was more
likely than not that she had a concussion but anyone could tell
that by taking one look at her bloodied hair, dyed pink with drying
blood. Spotting one of the staff, the heir managed to pull off a
grimace-like smile and a wave. "Uh, hi there! The purple lady told
me that this was where to get some healing?" She greeted, putting
on a more sociable aura around her
