Asumi jumped upon hearing the first ring of the bell,then nodded to Sofus. "Hey,wanna come with?" She turned to Echo and Marie. Even though Sofus' tone was clearly friendly and wanted to help big words still scared Asumi.

"Have you already been sorted? Have they done this sort of ceremony before?" She asked as she peaked around the main entrance,getting a small preview of how's inside. "I guess you'll also be our guide,if you don't mind Sofus..."

"Oh, I do not mind at all!" Sofus nearly sings. He holds the door open for the others while stepping into the warmth of the lobby. He points. "That right there is where we're going. The cafeteria. It's large enough to not only be a place of eating but a second home for many. I've seen people play board games here before. Dungeons and Dragonite or something? I'm not quite sure."

He puts a finger to his cheek. "This is a new thing for almost all of us, really. They've done ceremonies before, but not to this level. And not because of sorting. Guess they added it to keep us on our toes."

Aki's glare has shookth the students who dared enough to look, they all slowly letting the both of them a clear way in fear of what she could do. That fear also counts towards Yura as he sinks slowly into his gassy neck, "right, very much reminded." He squeaked to himself as he skuttles towards an empty spot in the middle of the sea of students.

Echo sniggered, before following Sofus, Marie, and Asumi to the cafeteria. “Pathetic,” she hissed. Echo has seen worse faces in her nightmares than Aki’s. Though others found that glare chilling to the bone, it was rather...comforting to her.

"Well, that's the bell. Looks like everyone is going to the cafeteria. Let's go." Ashley said, quickly standing up and dragging Erika to the cafeteria.
"Okay, you don't have to drag me though..." Erika muttered as they ran. As soon as Ashley and Erika got to the cafeteria, a bit of nervous excitement flowed through them. It's up to chance that they are both sorted into the same house, even sorted into the same dorm room. They'd just have to hope.

when they step inside and hears echos remark, she puts on a smile. Marie looks at echo. "her family is proud of their roots and values, so respect is a really big thing for her.
she turns to aki and yura. "hello! good morning!"

Sofus chuckles a little at Echo's comment. He'd have to try and talk with his underclassmen a little more. Make them understand that just because you're a mango, you can still fit in the fruit bowl. Or something. He had read a How-To book on seeming responsible, but most of the knowledge had seeped out of his mind. Something about unity, anyway!
Greeting the students that came in, he truly felt as if his time had come. This is it. This is where all the knowledge comes to use.
He waltzes over to a young pair of students, seemingly a Centiskorch & Arcanine at first glance. "Why, hello! Are you both excited for the ceremony?" He flashes a smile as if to seem more approachable.

Yura nods slightly, shakily taking Mari's hand, "Y-yes, I am, I'm uhm, I'm good yes." Quickly retrieving his hand and looking away, not knowing what to say. He really doesn't want to make it awkward but his brain lacks the capacity of being able to uphold a conversation.

Ashley let go of Erika's hand and greeted the Yamper "Hello! Also kinda I guess. What about you Erika?" She turned to Erika. Erika looked up at the Yamper
"Sort of." She said with a sigh and fell silent again. Ashley turned back around to the Yamper and smiled.
"Umm... don't mind her." Ashley said smiling awkwardly. "She's normally like this with strangers." Erika pushed Ashley out the way and began to scan the cafeteria for a place to sit. Ashley looked over "Wait! Ugh... Sorry! I guess we'll catch up later!" Ashley ran over to Erika, who was now sitting at a table.
"That was not cool, you don't leave me like that!" Ashley said crossing her arms. Erika rolled her eyes
"You two were being VERY awkward" Erika said harshly.
"Typical Erika" Ashley rolled her eyes and sat down next to her.

“I see...it’ll be good for you to try to protect yourself though! Are you in the martial arts club? If you aren’t, I can teach you! You can choose between jujitsu, karate, aikido,judo, hapkido, Kung fu, Taekwondo, tai Chi, Krav Maga, Kapoeira....and around sixty others. I haven’t learnt the other hundred yet” Echo said, frowning slightly at the thought.

"Don't worry about it!" Sofus tries to scream to the Arcanine. He worries it falls for deaf ears for a second, but supposes that such fighting spirit is admirable. Being shy is okay too, he decides, although still slightly saddened. He walks over to the senior table, straightening his back as he sits. Such is respectable for a true gentleman.

she smiles at both of them and looks at echo. Marie waves her hand around. "ah, dont worry. i know some stuff myself. besides, i can sneak asumi anywhere i want by calling her my bodyguard. comes in handy when auditions are long... we should definitely train together though! right, asumi?"

Erika sighed as she watched the Yamper they talked too walk over to the senior table. Inside, she felt kinda bad and sorry, but the other half of her is kinda glad she avoided a conversation. Ashley watched as well and sighed "I wish I could've talked to them some more, they seemed really nice, its just we're besties, and whatever you want to do, I'll do as well."
"You could've stayed and talked some more then. You didn't have to follow me, but you chose too." Erika said coldly. Ashley looked at Erika and then sat down, her head on the table.
"Yeah you're right, I don't have to follow you everywhere..." Ashley drooped her ears Erika rolled her eyes and smiled awkwardly
"N-no don't be sad, I- ugh... I guess I like your company?" Erika said trying to cheer her up. Ashley perked her ears up and wagged her tail frantically like a happy doggo.
