Theo had been sitting quietly until this point. H-he wasn't nervous, no, not at all! He was just observing them because he was sneaky and smart and wanted to figure out what they were like. The other Yellow Ferrets seemed pretty nice, though. He would just watch because he didn't want to talk to them just yet. When Mrs. Lantos mentioned breakfast, his stomach rumbled even louder than the last two times. He really, really wanted some food. When she finished talking, Theo hopped off the bench. Keeping close to the ground and looking like a small dark bug, he immeadiently went to the Yellow Ferrets table, finding a spot. Theo was smart and sneaky as any great Lord of Darkness should be, so he tried to be as small as possible to attract as little attention as possible. He looked more like a dark blob now than anything.

Sighing with the announcement of the breakfast section, Kamma claps Marie's shoulder. "Oh, I am so sorry, but I have to go now." Cheerily walking over to the Red Salamander table, she plops down, making sure her ears were extra upright. Could never skip out on hearing any new information. Especially with these strong people. Or well, presumably strong. Asumi sounded like she could very well beat someone up. Kamma narrows her eyes a little to look at her from across the table.


His tail wags eagerly with excitement as he sees just how many people they are in the Yellow Ferrets. Oh, how he couldn't wait to meet them all! He has to greet everyone! He has to!
Looking around for a target - any can do - he spots a little... blob. Well, even a blob can communicate!
"Greetings fellow Yellow Ferret! How are you today!!!"

Theo glanced at Sofus, his dark eyes peeking out from his hoodie. "Fine," he muttered. Why did interactions have to be so difficult? What else was he supposed to do? For now, he would handle this like a very smart lord of Darkness that he was. So, he looked up so that he looked less like a blob and said, "What do you want?"

After a bit of chatting around with the Red Salamanders nearby,she paused for a bit and started glancing around. There were a few some people looking at her. Some may be looking at her due to her gi,some others due to what happen with Echo,some others due to her reaction with Suki...Only now did she realise that she was being careless around other people and probably gave off a wrong first impression. She looked across the table,in front of her as well,only to be met with a Red Salamander looking at her as well. "I really screwed up,didn't I? On the first day of school as well..." she thought to herself,her eyes drooping.

Kamma, now realizing she made eye contact, looks anywhere else but at Asumi's eyes. Stuttering, she says a hi. No clue if Asumi can even hear her, she punches herself innerly. She's just really stupid, huh. Keep in it, Kamma! You need to do that cool 2 person trick you saw on the Internet...

Sofus puts his elbow on the table, resting his head in his hand. This person reminds him a little of... Younger Sofus. He smiles at the thought. How sweet.
"Just wanted to say hello! May you be new here?"

Ebony jumped up immediately and took a seat at the assigned table, his steps bouncing with excitement. Beside him, he placed a hand on the seat, knowing his sister would be much more comfortable if she had someone she knew to sit near. While he encouraged the blue haired girl to pave her own path, to make her own friends, he knew that she had her limits, and it was only her first day. The Dragalge figured meeting one new person was enough for his sister for the morning. Soar was called away by another friend of his, so Ebony sat there trying to look unsuspicious, leaning over an empty seat to his right and staring straight ahead.
Cascade took a deep breath and slipped through the crowd, weaving around the other students as she made her way to the Green Deer table. She kept her head down, trying to avoid notice. Her petite, lithe figure made navigating the journey easier for her than perhaps it would have been for someone taller. The Kingdra smiled a bit when she saw Ebony scanning the crowd, catch her eye, and wave her over. Her older brother was a goofy idiot most of the time, but he did earn his keep. Breaking out of the crowd, she slid into the seat he was saving with an exhausted, "What's for breakfast?"

Theo nodded slowly, staring at him with wide eyes. He was..actually doing this. He was talking to someone?! He spoke out loud, his naturally squeaky voice sounding out of place for the first time. "My mom transferred me here." Immeadiently, he regretted speaking. He now both sounded and looked younger than he really was. Theo wouldn't even be mad if Sofus thought that he wasn't 15.

Oh, Sofus is just about ready to tear up because of happiness. His ears tilt slightly to one side and then straight up again. A reoccurring motion. He likes to think that he listens better when he does that trick.
"Transferred you here... That's so cool! If you straight-up transferred and not just... joined in... Then you must be... a sophomore, right?" He does a shy finger gun. "I have friends that are sophomores, so I'm sure you'll fit in just fine with the class. They're really nice people!"

Theo nodded again, this time a bit more slowly. "I'm a sophomore." Now, this was a nice turn of events. He perked up a bit more, but the idea of more socializing made him cringe. "I, uh, don't do so well with people." He shook his head. No, he shouldn't be like that. He was the Lord of Darkness and must be good at everything, including talking to people. So, he spoke again, this time trying to be more enthusiastic. "Actually, that sounds nice."

Sofus smiles at the boy. "Happy to hear that! I'd be willing to introduce you right this second, but they're kinda in a different house. And it's breakfast time. That too." He scratches his chin before opening his mouth again. "Heard from Mr. Frazier that it'll be a brunch kinda deal. The food's already gotten put out on the tables, so I think it's the idea that we just go up and take some... You wanna come?"

BREAKFAST - 9:00 AM
Teachers may work hard, but the chefs in the kitchen work harder. Heaps of food and plates are carried out from the kitchen by many different folk. The food is left on tall tables in the end of the cafeteria. A chef rings a bell, signalling breakfast is officially ready. They walk proudly back to the kitchen.

Asumi did indeed some mouth movement coming from Kamma but she didn't actually hear what she said. "Did ya say anything? Speak louder!" If Kamma wanted to insult Asumi she wouldn't have acted all shy and whatnot,so that was out of the question.

That bell could only mean one thing. Asumi opted to not cause another scene so she waited until the mass got their plate and then get up and get some herself. Why even rush to get a plate of food?

Echo waited till everyone had gone, before she herself went. She took a little of the food, not used to eating so often. She only ever ate dinner. Scarlett began eating, and when she was done, she sneakily flung a baked bean towards the red salamanders/yellow ferrets, using the shadows to disguise her hand, making it look like someone else’s

Getting up and weaving his way through the small mass of students now getting food, Yura took just enough before going back to his seat, albeit a bit more farther than before. And just when he thoughts no more antics will ensues for the rest of the morning, Echo had to do that.

Yura proceeds to silently eat his food while giving Echo the 'Are you serious' stare. In other topic, the food turns out to be quite nice and he thank blessings to the chefs that had worked hard and cooked the food.

Ebony bounced up, grabbing Cascade's hand and pulling her to her feet as well. As he pushed her in front of him through the crowd, his eyes were fixed humorously on the buffet. "You are going to love this," he muttered in his sister's ear, grinning. The girl let out a puff of annoyance, though still allowing herself to be steered around by him, and muttered, "I'll take your word for it."
When the siblings reached the line in which the students were standing to wait for their chance to grab the food, Ebony spun them around with a mischievous grin, making it so that he was before her in line. Putting her hands on her hips, Cascade glared up at him for a moment before sighing and deciding that she was too tired for this. Dropping her arms, she craned her neck to the side, trying to see around him. The Kingdra had always been a bit of a peckish eater, only taking one serving of food per meal and rarely going back for seconds, but the options did appear rather appetizing...

Theo, who was never a big eater by nature, was unusually hungry. So, he stood up, and scurried torwads the table. He was nearly trampled by the other students, and was actually knocked to the ground. With a small indignant noise, he stood up, brushing himself off, and went to join the line. This was one of the many, many times that being short was just plain awful.

Anpea was taking lunch like she'd prepare for a hunger period, as she loaded up two plates of various meals, looking more like a Semi-Solid stew than food... as she dug in like a true miner.

Suki meanwhile took the extra step and prepared an edge of the table with a table cloth, her own plate and cutlery... before getting herself some beans and nommed on her spoonful, a bit like a rabbit

You know the first rule in combat? Shoot them before they shoot you.

The yelling gave Kamma some new-found confidence. "I said 'hi'! Are you deaf or something?!" She glares one final time at Asumi before deciding she can wait until after she's gotten some grub. She waltzes up to the table and puts whatever on her plate, sulking when sitting at the table again.

Sofus hums as he walks up to the food tables, greeting a few more familiar faces. He really wanted to go up to those dorms soon, but he assumed that they needed time to prepare everything properly. He grabs his favorite food and walks over to the Yellow Ferrets table again, eating peacefully.

"...Eh?!?..." she said mostly to herself. Well,quite some students had already grabbed a plate but there were still some up. Her curiosity got the better of her this time and she stood and,following behind Kamma. "What's wrong? Is everything alright?" she asked while catching up to her.

Anpea chuckles, close to eating the spoon alongside the food, then cackling a little and smiling. "It's not even been one day but I already picked a fight, made friends, got into a fraternity... this is going to be one hell of a year!" She laughed, then swallowing the spoon with little to no effort.

Mr. Frazier claps his hands.
"Well then! We have concluded our assignment of roommates for the dorms. A slip of paper will be handed out now by our staff, so be sure to grab one. This slip of paper includes a map of the school and the distribution of students."
He paces back and forth a little before continuing.
"You are free to leave whenever you wish. Consider today a free day of sorts, but be ready for strong discipline tomorrow! The next official event will be at 13:00 PM in the lobby. Be sure to be there!"

FREE TIME - 9:30 AM

"Everything is just fine, thank you! I don't even know you!" Kamma sneers at the other girl. She grabs a paper angrily from a teacher coming by, though mumbling an apology shortly after. She feels a slight shiver when she reads who her roommate is. Anpea...
She hides behind the piece of paper, hoping desperately that this was just a misprint. She would die before this day was even over!

Sofus stands up to bow when being offered the piece of paper, taking his time to remember the school map, even if he had been going to the school for years. He smiles when reading through the roommate section, looking forward to getting to know Theo more.
