Winter
"G'morning." Emerald had a bright smile on his face. He had just
made his own bubbles to get up there. He didn't want to disturb his
friend after all...he gently gave him a nuzzle. "I brought
breakfast for you!"
"Morning." Winter greeted his friend, nose twitching at the mention
of breakfast, reminding him of his hunger. He gently slid the star
aside, making room for him to stand up and stretch.
With a quick "Thanks." Winter proceeded to absolutely slurp up the
breakfast, briefly applying the spreads as he did so. He kept
glancing at Emerald as he did, and as he finished the toast, he
asked. "So how's it going? I hope your family is..." he trailed
off, thinking. "Well enough?"
Not having been assigned to any patrols, Fortem assumed he had free
time. Maybe he could check out the school of magic? It was loyalist
after all, and he'd been meaning to check it out... He wouldn't
sign up though. He wanted to do that with Emerald.
Oh, it had snowed! The familliar sight made Audax smile as he
remembered his other winter memories in Luminia. Despite all the
tension, it made Audax happy.
Clamor gave Dart a friendly wave of the tail. This was one pokemon
who didn't seem to mind that he couldn't speak. Dart was also one
pokemon Clamor felt relatively friendly with, as he saw Dart almost
every day when he came to train, or defend the arena from those
loyalists...
Riptide woke up. He was a bit hungry, so he decided to grab some
food. He put some bread in the toaster, and waited for the pop
sound of the toast to be done. Once it went pop, he ate it quickly,
and decided he could probably go out to train or something. He
didn’t know where he would go. He didn’t wanna have to get into a
big fight with someone, just training. He wanted to get his new
moves that he would normally get from evolving. He stayed inside
for a while, just thinking.
Winter
“Everything’s fine, no point in being pessimistic after all!”
Emerald said. He seemed a bit happier after yesterday after being
able to see Winter and Fortem and some others too. He playfully did
a light bounce on the bubble, causing Winter to bounce
slightly.
Fortem
The knights are the entrance let Fortem in...it seems as though
most of the corridors were open now. Normally, you’d have to be a
student to be able to enter to the main part of the school
Clamor
Dart gave a nod towards Clamor. “Here for training? There’s plenty
of partners to choose from.” He waved an arm towards a small group
talking in the corner
Riptide
There was a four-pointed star on the table, made of snow. There was
no explanation how it got in there...and it was different from the
snowflakes outside. There was also a small thud outside as well,
which would turn out to be some snow falling off the roof
Riptide heard the thud and looked over to where he heard the noise,
which he thought was probably something unimportant. He realized
there was something on the table so he went towards it. It looked
like a sort of star, but it had four points. He went closer to it.
What was it? He didn’t remember having one. He went to the front,
opened the door, and didn’t really see anything that wasn’t usual.
He closes the door and went back to the inside of his house. He
looked back at the star. Should he take it with him or just leave
it there? He went towards it and touched it to see if it did
anything.
After waking up, she noticed the cold shape at her nose. Poking the
star with a claw, Mordred scooped it into a paw and looked at it
curiously. Her ear flicked in confusion. Taking it into her cottage
and safely in a cupboard, she grunted with satisfaction. Letting
put a yawn, she stepped outside and looked about.
“Oh.” Veil found his forearm under his chin, which was resting at
his front desk. Rubbing the bottom of his chin and standing up, he
was met with a half empty and cold cup of coffee. Turning the sign
at the front of the café from closed to open, he rubbed an eye with
sleepiness.
Winter grinned. "Good to hear!" Finishing his food quickly, he
reached for the star. "Say, d'ya any idea what this is? It appeared
last night." He was glad his friend seemed happier now. He looked
forward to a few bounces before he inevitably left to see his other
Luminian friends for the day
Riptide
The star faintly glowed blue...but that was all it did. The only
other thing of note is that it wasn’t as cold as it should have
been
Mordred
It was lightly snowing but the path towards Emerald’s house was
still clear. Despite the snow, it still looked to be a pleasant
day.
Veil
Summer seemed to be bustling around the cafe as well...ready to
welcome some customers, the majority of which were Republican. Or
Neutral if they were brave enough.
Winter
Emerald peered closely. “Uhh...? I have no clue honestly. I got one
too?” He tilted his head. “Though maybe it’s related to the new
heir to the throne...just maybe.” He did a stronger bounce on the
bubble
Riptide wondered why this star thing was doing this, and why it
wasn’t cold. He decided to put the star in a safe spot so it wasn’t
stolen if someone got in. He hid it in a small cabinet, then went
out of the house. Where could he train? Everywhere was already so
dangerous. He ran around the streets, trying to find a spot where
he could set up something. Hopefully nobody on either sides tried
to stop and persuade him to join them or something. It was so
annoying.
Fortem admired the grand hall, giving off strong medieval vibes,
but also mixed with something else... He spotted a familiar
sillhouette out on one balcony and bounded over to check if he was
the pokemon he thought he was. "Audax?"
Audax whipped his head around, hearing a certain lycanroc's voice.
"Oh, hi Fortem!" Audax couldn't mask his enjoyment. His tail waved
happily. He'd been pretty lonely, even for an introvert, and it was
nice to see a familiar face. He began to catch up with Fortem,
walking about what had happened recently and how everyone was, as
they walked out of the building.
Clamor nodded at Dark, looking through the pokemon ready to go for
a practice spar. Hmmm... who would he be battling today?
Riptide
The safest place would be...the grand stage. It was off on a
seoarate island but there wasn’t anyone there at the moment. It
wasn’t deemed a strategic location or important enough to be held
so no sides have taken it...
Fortem + Audax
In the distance towards the fountain, Remus could be seen heading
out of Yung’s home, and was walking towards the district
Clamor
Every pokemon looked fit and ready to go. For all sorts of training
purposes. On top of that, there were Chansey and Audino that joined
the Republicans on standby too
Riptide decided that he would go to the Grand Stage. Neither side
had really taken it yet, so he ran over there. There seemed to be
nobody there, which to him seemed like a good thing to him. He
found a good place to train, and started to train there. He kept
trying to learn Water Shuriken. He tried, but ended up just using
Water Pulse. He sighed, then kept trying, over and over and over.
"Remus is over there!" Fortem pointed out. "You haven't seen him in
a while, right? We should go visit!" He was perhaps more confident
than usual.
Audax hesitated. The anthian district would be pretty dangerous for
both of them, being seen as loyalists, but he was most worried
about facing Remus. He hadn't even said bye when he left to stay at
the school for protection... finally swallowing his fear, he
nodded. "Sure, lets go."
Clamor took his slate, writing a message: "Anyone up for a spar?"
He sat and waited.
Riptide
The snow continued to slowly fall around him as he trained. Just
calm and serene as ever...no one had came his way yet, but then
again, it was still fairly early.
Fortem + Audax
By the time that they got over there to him, he had entered and
came out holding a small package. "Oh? Fortem and...Audax! It's
been awhile Audax." He chuckled softly as he ruffled the fur on
Audax's head.
Clamor
A Linoone stepped up. Prepared...
A space was cleared for the duo as they prepared to fight
Riptide was huffing by now, as he continued training, trying to
learn this new move. Bubble he was sort of okay with, quick attack
was a good move if he wanted to go faster and dodge, double team
was sorta good, but all of his moves right now were sorta
replaceable in his mind. He continued using a bunch of water
pulses, trying to get them into the throwing star shape, but just
couldn’t seem to learn. He was huffing more now, and decided to
take a break. He sat down, crossed his legs, and started
meditating. He breathed in and out calmly.
Was this it? Was Remus so easily willing to accept that he'd left
his job and Remus without a word? Audax hesitated before half
whispering: "Sorry Remus! For not saying where I went..." He paused
awkwardly as Fortem watched.
Clamor set his slate aside and analysed his opponent. Linoones were
known for being more comfortable running in straight lines... if
that were true for this one as well, he could use it to his
advantage for dodging.
Riptide
Snow started to pile up on Riptide...there was a knight watching
now, but deemed that he wasn't doing anything wrong and so they
moved on. A rebel was walking towards them though...but they didn't
notice Riptide
Fortem + Audax
Remus paused for a moment. "Well...the recent events forced the
situation. Plus, until recently, I wasn't been able to move around
freely anyway." He said it in a loose tone...in a way that he
didn't want them to inquire further. His expression softened into a
soft smile. "Seeing you two, Emerald and everyone though, I'm glad
that you're still doing well."
Clamor
The Linoone charged forward with a Quick Attack, moving in an
erratic way
