Ryuu circled his new trainer, then returned to its pokeball once he was finished doing his circles. Now that he had his Pokémon, Cyrus felt a bit of the weigh on his chest disappear, there would be no more turning back now, that was sure. He wondered how much he could do with his new Pokémon… His new partner. Surely a dragon Pokémon would not be easy to train yet what did it cost to try. If he wanted to find his brother again, he knew that he had to take matters into his own hands. The police did not help his mother find him. No one did. Now he would try.
His mother had always been a gentle woman, petite and frail, yet always wanting to make her children smile. After she had lost both her eldest son and husband, she had turned a bit distant, yet she always cared about her friends and her son. It truly broke her heart, hearing that Cyrus would be leaving her now. Although she seemed unhappy, she knew that it would be the best for him to try and explore the world and make new friends… but the whole situation made her scared for her sons’ life. In any situation she would have supported him immediately.
Although Camilla did give all her Pokémon and Items away, that did not mean that she did not still feel the connection she had made with her trusty partners. Yet she knew that Gardevoir would probably not return to her. She pulled out a small box, containing some old family pictures and simply looked at them, shortly she seemed to smile, remembering old times and great memories. The woman sighed softly, her voice almost cracked yet she held back her tears, not wishing to cry again. This had happened and it was over. Although it was hard for her to understand that almost everyone had left her, she still did not throw away her hope.
Cyrus looked around the lab once more, the others seemed to already have started some conversations. He decided to just go on and get to know… Ryuu. He did not really know if he should talk to anyone already. Stepping away a bit from the rest of the others, it was almost as if he left a crowd, he let out Ryuu again, the Jangmo-o happily jumped up and down, its eyes playfully darted around the room. Each time the dragon Pokémon smiled, Cyrus also did, his smile was shy but present. How long it had been since he had last smiled? He did not have an Idea… No not the slightest. Yet the presence of the happy dragon made him happy as well.
This was the effect he had hoped for. Ryuu happily jumped onto his shoulder, it almost made him stumble a little, yet he was alright with that, if his partner was happy he was too.

Paige's tiny nose twitched as she eyed the hand being offered to her. "...peko..." after a bit of hesitation, her little paws latched onto her trainer's arm, and the little electric Pokémon climbed onto Twyla's shoulder. "Peko!" It cried again, looking more happy now that it was on higher ground. Cracking a smile, her trainer stood up. "You like that, Paige?" She reached up to scratch her partner's chin again, and suddenly she felt ready to head out! Glancing back at Hop, as if waiting for him to say something more, she casually wandered in the exit's direction.

Cyrus had never thought about just keeping him in his pokeball so that question rather startled him, yet he brushed it off... “No no... I´ll let him out again do not worry... He´s just kind of bubbly right now so I´ll let him calm down. Little guy seems happy to go on an adventure. “ Cyrus then shortly thought about an answer for the other question, he wasn’t that good with multiple people at once… but he knew that he´d have to change himself if he wanted to even survive this Journey. “Yes of course… I totally agree with you on the whole the more the merrier thing” he nodded shortly and smiled a bit.
Ryuu didn’t want to stay in the pokeball so he just popped out of it again and climbed onto Cyrus´s shoulder, this time he seemed to behave a bit better though.

Making her way out of the lab, she began following the path out, glancing around at her surroundings as she went. Her hood was still on, placing an off-putting shadow over her face, which she had been wanting to take off, but she was still uncomfortable, this being her first day out on her journey, so she excused herself this time. It did make Paige look right at home next to her, though. The dark type Pokémon with a trainer masked by shadow...

"Very finicky"
Her mind is totally blank as she stares at the Pokeball in her hand. She, now, had her starter in her possession and the journey to proving herself could finally begin. But something felt off.
'A-am I having cold-feet already?! I can't possibly-'
Amidst her internal panic, the Pokeball falls from her hand, hitting the floor with a loud clatter before releasing the tiny Pokemon within. The Togepi rubs its eyes with a yawn, before looking up to meet the fear-filled eyes of its trainer. It cries a puzzled chirp, which snaps the new trainer back to reality. Once McQueen realises that the Pokemon doesn't seem hurt after clumsily dropping it's Pokeball, she sinks down onto her knees in order to get a closer look at her new partner.
"Togeprrriii!"
McQueen smiles contently. It's a rare sight, in comparison to her usual stiff expressions. Although, today seemed to be the odd day where nothing goes the way she plans, exposing her hidden scatterbrained side.
"Ahh... You're adorable," McQueen cooed, extending her arm and allowing the Pokemon to nuzzle her hand, "It seems everyone is giving their partners nicknames. I wonder what I should call you..."
"Pi..?"
"Angel. I'm going to call you Angel and I'll make sure to give it my all in training so that we can advance and take flight together!"

Brook - Snom. Brook - Murkrow. Brook - Honedge.
Looking up at the Professor, she smiled. "You didn't have to, ya know." Hop simply shrugged, turning towards her.
"You are 16. You don't have to participate in the challenge you don't have to. You could help me with my research a least, but you know... I never have regretted taking the gym challenge when I was a kid. Sure I lost, but I learned a lot about myself, and that's what the gym challenge should be about."
Brook nodded, slipping a hand on a pokeball. "I'll think about it." Picking up a pokeball she sent out the pokemon inside. A cute little Snom now sat in her hand as she walked over to Hop. "You forgot the pokedexes by the way." The Professor seemed panicked, fumbling over to the back holding pokedexes.
"My bad! Anyone who's here, please take one! I know their a little outdated as Rotom are harder to find now days, but they have all the needed information!"
Brook took a few, placing them in her bag. "I'll take some to those who already left." With that she adjusted her bag and left the lab at a steady jog. She had to catch up with those ahead.
