Kayden, Reve, Will and Tiggs had split up to gather logs and stone to make a small cabin. They all gathered back together and had began building the cabin.

Prism sighed, guessing she would have to create her own shelter. She cast a glance around the group, before deciding that she didn't need a shelter - she would be fine on her own. Which she probably wouldn't, but she was too naive to realise that. So she simply sat on the ground, leaning on a ruined wall, her eyes closed; waiting. For a moment she allowed her thoughts to drift back to memories of her family, before pushing them from her mind. Weakness would do her no good out here.

The was a bit of sound by the outskirts of the camp as a dark figure shuffled around, plucking moss with blood speckled fingers. Stiff limbs carried the fake body up to wander back to the pitiful group of survivors before sitting down beside a run down cabin to pat together the moss. Mika smiled, cracked cheeks splintering as a pillow was formed under unwieldy hands. The dual toned haori was taken off the stained and ruined kimono underneath and Mika gently laid down on the cold ground, using the haori as a blanket. Snuggling up, a soft sigh escaped cold lips, a soft blue glow dying the doll's body in an unsettling light before it flickered out and one lone spirit, a sphere of blue fire, wriggled out to observe its surroundings.

Brutalis stood far above the rest of his fellow demons, his eyes filled with their usual bloodlust, and he clenched his fists. He wanted so much to be in the heat of battle, to be leading legions of beasts with his torch and Greatblade, to be cleaving his opponents in half, or to be tearing apart phalanxes with only his glare and roar. He hungered for the looks of terror his opposition gave when they discovered him in underground tunnels, attempting to sneak in, how they cried out and told their forces to turn and run. Instead, he was reduce to attempting to build a settlement, to dwelling in this other world, this mud patch. His wings snapped open, his massive jaw opened, and his mighty roar bellowed across the lands once more. Planting one foot on the ground, he launched himself off the cliff and flew, hardly needing to flap his wings. Landing with a force that shook the area around him, he glanced at his surroundings, at the other poor monstrosities that had been left here, their acceptance of the situation nearly unbelievable. Clenching his left fist, the one he wielded Greatblade with, he drove his fist into an innocent tree standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. It splintered around his blow, and bark flew from it moments afterward. The leaves were left fluttering in the air, and the half log flew through the air, landing some distance away.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

Do you know what lies beyond?

Do you want to?

Or has your curiosity reached a nervous end?
