Shade: We better prepare then... I upgraded my Moveset since our
last encounter! But I'm still trying to master my little secret
move...
Shine: I can't fight I'm too young!
Frozzy: I can't fight I'm too pretty!
Shade: No you're not Frozzy...
Cinnai's ears perked up at the Glaceon's complaining. "Hey, how
many ice moves you know? You could always make it snow! That'd be
fun!" She chimed in, tail wagging slightly.
Plus anyone that tailed them would be slipping on ice.
At least she thought that until the Mew spoke again. Oof. Never
get on a Mew's badside! She thought. "What bribe do you want
for your secrets, Mr. Mew?"
“N-no army?” Riah burst out, running ahead a few paces and facing
the legendaries with newfound confidence burning brightly in his
eyes. His eyes sparked for a moment. “How do you want to win a
war with... this army?” Riah panicked for a moment, knowing
he could be struck down in mere moments. “Ngh... I’ll follow your
leads.” His gaze flickered with doubt, embarrassment flooding to
his cheeks and tail like heat.
Frozzy: My only Attacking moves are Iron Tail and Ice Beam yet I
haven't even mastered my non damaging moves...
Shade: Because you procrastinate instead of practice!
Emerald looked at Shade. "...considering what has happened, I'd
rather you didn't risk anything that puts us in danger. There's too
much at risk considering what's happened recently."
Upon hearing that, Azure immediately turned around. Clockworks were
turning in his head. "...I won't say anymore on the matter."
He looked at Riah. "And we've faced hoards and came out victorious.
A small group has better mobility then a large army."
Fortem continued padding along, unintentionally listening to all of
the interesting conversations around him. He wanted to give the
pokemon their privacy, but with such sharp ears, what could you do?
He folded them down a little bit, and just focused on walking and
looking down at his paws.
Shade: Makes sense I could see why you wouldn't like risking
it...
Frozzy: Anyways instead of practicing my attacks Imma go play
around and explore!!!
*Frozzy runs off carelessly*
Shade: ... I really need someone to take care of her...
Riah felt unsettled. I’m not some powerful legendary or
mythical. Just some Pikachu. Get over it. His mind seemed to
say. He fell in and took the back, his neck fur standing on end
with each step he took.
Shade: If only Glare was here to keep Frozzy in check... I really
need some desperate boy to take Frozzy out on a date... Even if she
is my little sister she's just far too exhausting to be around...
Emerald just sighed. "Perhaps it's time to learn to find a way to
actually keep her in check. For now, Mewtwo has her on a
leash."
And sure enough, Mewtwo was dragging her along with psychic
energy
Fortem took a deep breath, then let out an audible exhale, admiring
the Savannah. "Wow... this looks really nice," He commented,
stating the obvious. He let the wind ruffle through his fur. Maybe
he felt at home here because of the scattered piles of rocks, his
type, or maybe it was the nice breeze? Either way, Fortem had found
a liking to the area already.
Riah was still on the back of the group. He clutched his light ball
as he tried not to show his anxiousness. He wanted to prove
himself, he wanted to be important, a group leader, to be trusted.
His eyes gleamed. More confident now, he strode on.
Cinnai hummed to herself as she followed along off to the side, not
wanting to stray too far from the group, but wanting to see the
sights at the same time. "Yeah, yeah! I miss all the flowers, but
this breeze is nice~" She nodded in agreement to the Lycanroc.
She nodded at Azure once she placed her bags down. "I don't see why
not!"
Fortem nodded enthusiastically, his tail swishing happily. Wanting
to help the others feel included, he asked: "Riah, Shade, Opal,
guys! What do you think?" He tilted his head.
He glanced around, poking his head up from the back. “Yeah, looks
fine to me!” He spoke, glancing around before giving a smile. He
swore he felt eyes on the back of his head. He broke into a cold
sweat. I hate this feeling. Riah’s eyes narrowed as he
looked at the ground.
