"Wow, this place looks pretty nice!" Audax carefully looked around. There were two big beds, a big window, and a sliding door leading to a balcony with a great seaside view. Audax definitely couldn't afford something like this, and he felt a twinge of guilt at intruding on Fortem and Emerald's space. He walked quickly around the room, before coming back to the others.

“Hey let’s have some fun while we’re here, right?” Emerald winked as he looked at Fortem. He didn’t quite want to let Audax go too easily while there were gigantic red balloon beds to be bounced on. But Fortem may not want to.

"Want to bounce on the balloon beds?" Fortem offered Audax. "Give it a go! It's pretty fun," He said, upon seeing Audax's hesitant face. Hopefully the eevee didn't have anything against balloon beds. Fortem watched as he carefully took a few steps on the balloon, and give it a test bounce. "This feels like Remus's balloons," Audax commented, surprised, and Fortem gave a grin at both he and Emerald. "See? I said the same!"

Emerald laughed. “They probably are, or they wouldn’t be this sturdy!” He laughed as he gently pushed Fortem over to them as well, almost a literal spring in his step. This was ideal...before they would go to school together

Audax and Fortem found themselves bouncing on the same balloon bed. Every bounce from one of them sent the other one even higher, as a result of the balloon's texture and, well, balloonishness, and Audax found himself thankful that the ceiling was relatively high. He grinned at the thought.

It was kind of something that the balloon didn’t burst from the trios bouncing. But oh how soft it was when you landed on it, and how funny it was to hear the squeaks and feel the wobbles. Emerald was probably in the greatest mood he has ever been, and that’s a high bar

The balloon bouncing put all of them in such good moods that Fortem and Audax forgot about the stresses of the future, if only just for the moment. Wide smiles could be seen of all of their faces. Eventually, Fortem stepped off the balloon, huffing from both the jumping and the laughter.

"There's enough free time to do things like this, but definetly less than before, and with other commitments..." Audax mentioned as he took deep breaths. The smile was still on his face. This was a first.

He nodded. “At least I still get to hang out with such a great buddy every day...” he playfully bumped Fortem. “As for us,” he indicated himself and Audax. “It’d be nice to hang out more~.”

Fortem grinned, and Audax gave a shy nod. There was still plenty of time left in the day before the big dance party this evening. "How do you feel about playing in the pool?" Fortem asked the other two, wanting to make the most of this opportunity.

Fortem nodded, and happily began trotting down to the pool, hoping he could remember where it was on the map. His tail swished back and forth, almost bumping into his friends.

Emerald giggled as the tail tickled him. He had ended up behinf him at this point.

Palm Pool was very big with lots of various slides. There were various inflatables to the side of the pool. Since it was early, they weren’t all in the pool yet

The pool wasn’t too busy, but there were definitely some pokemon lazing about in the pool, some splashing around, some swimming. Emerald sat on the edge and dabbled his feet in the water

After splashing around in the pool for a bit, one of the bigger slides caught Fortem's eye. It seemed to involve inflatable tubes that were meant for 4, but he thought 3 would suffice. Still, it looked a little scary.... Fortem wanted to try anyway, to combat his fear. He'd been through worse, right? "If you're up to it... do you guys want to try that slide?" He hesitantly lifted a claw, like a weight was strapped to it. After an awkward few seconds, Audax made up his mind, and nodded with a grin. He was a little nervous too, but if he was with Emerald and Fortem, things would hopefully go fine.

"Whoa!" Audax's ears flew behind him as they zipped down the slide. Their tube spun, turning him backwards for a moment, and he tensed his muscles. Luckily, it was for nothing, as a few moments later, the trio splashed down at the end of the ride. Audax found himself laughing and panting, along with Fortem.
