B. "I'm Sure he won't mind if I leave him for a longer time."
Curiosity taking over her, she explored the house. The smell of the
old wood filled her nostrils and it make her think of her house
outside of here. Damn, she is starting to be homesick.
Caleb nodded at Cole's suggestion and started walking towards the
stream coming from some sort of river. He tended to his legs and
arms more, since those were the primary body parts that got filthy
whilst hunting. For a second he could feel Crystal being somewhere
near him but it was probably because they returned to the
settlement. He made sure he wasn't late but also clean.
A (Idiot gang!!). Cocking her head as she looked at the stone.
Bending down, she picked it up, marvelling how beautiful the color
look, not noticing the signs that Flora was giving her about the
stone.
Crystal: The stone glowed brightly and a flash of
red light burst into the room. Flora let out an angry growl and
knocked the stone away from your hand. You heard a voice whispering
in your head. "North to the Mist Forest lies your first path" it said then
everything went back to normal. The stone disappeared and Flora
looked worriedly at you.
"To leave this world full of the unknown
To the five realms, you must go
From the deep forest to the mountains topped with snow
Find the shards hidden, a total of three
Only then will you be free"
Reciting the riddle, Crystal tried to put the pieces together but
right now there was no information. "North, it is!" With that, she
ran towards the forest, Flora following.
Crystal: While running you bumped into Cole who was
carrying a tray of cooked meat. "Whoa, slow down. Where are you
going in such a hurry? Breakfast is ready soon," he asked
confused.
"I really wish I could pet you but I'm soaked...and you're a
phoenix... Hmmm,I should probably give you a name... How about
Hestia? It sounds good I guess." He said as he walked out of the
stream and dried himself up with a towel. He started heading
towards the settlement.
Caleb: The phoenix -I mean- Hestia, nodded in
agreement and glided towards you, flying right by your side. You
saw other people looking impressed by it. Hestia showed off her
beauty by purposely dancing in the sky. It was obvious that she was
very proud of herself.
"Oh... I'm just checking something out! Do you by any chance know
where the mystic forest is? I do not want to get lost..." Crystal
said, lying about her real purpose. She does not want any of her
friends to get into trouble.
Crystal: Cole looked at you hesitantly. "You know
that forest is well known by it's name right? Hunters get lost
easily there. Why are you going there?" he asked worriedly. Also it's Mist not Mystic but whatever :b
Caleb's inner self was impressed, but on the outside he just stood
there and watched Hestia do her thing with his arms on his side and
with a confident smile, almost like a smirk. "You must have really
taken a liking towards your name, huh? Come on,let's see what the
others are up to." He said as he continued walking. He was a bit
worried regarding Crystal. Hunting tool his mind off of her for a
bit but still. He didn't really miss home either.
"Umm... fine. I'll tell you guys. Grab Caleb and we'll meet at the
hut where we first went to. I'll explain everything. It is not
right to not tell you guys the truth." Sighing, she turned back.
The scorching heat really bothered Caleb but he temporarily walked
it off in order to maintain his cool impression the others had for
him until he walked away quite far where he carefully removed
Hestia before trying to put out the fire on his shirt's shoulder.
"Can you like, cool down a tad bit? I'd be very grateful." He said
as kindly as possible. He thought about getting a heat-resistant
thing to cover his arm or shoulder in order for Hestia to be able
to sit there.
"Uhhhh fine, sit there I guess. I'll whistle whenever I'll need
you,or something." He said as finally made his way to the
settlement. The multiple food and their smell pierced Caleb's nose.
Caleb: Cole was cleaning up a pile of wood when you
approached the settlement. He looked at you and smiled, trying to
hide his tiredness. "Right on time! Let's go eat," he said leading
Caleb to a hut with a lot of people, estimated around 30.
Reaching the hut where they first started, Crystal mumbled the
words to the riddle over and over again. the townspeople words
stuck in her head, along with the banner. "There has to be
something related to it... but what?" Flora looked at her, relesing
a relaxing scent, causing her to calm down.
Crystal: You feel a hand on your shoulder and you
turned to see it was Hazel. "Hey, you seem tense. Is everything
okay? Or are you too busy worrying about your family?" she asked
worriedly.
