Audax dodged the orbs, full of energy from the berry. Other pokemon weren't as lucky, and got hit, knocking them to the ground. He was confused and angry. Did azure know who these pokemon were, if he knew it would happen eventually? Were they a cult or something? He sent a swift at one of the masked pokemon.

"Thanks," Fortem rasped to Mewtwo for the life dew. He turned back to Mortem, angry at him for attacking his friends. He let out a howl, and hurled rocks from all over the room at the darkrai.

Mortis had disappeared again. And suddenly a cage surrounded Fortem

Azure launched the attack. The Sheer Cold attack froze a portion of the army, and had clearly shaken up the army a little

Meka had dodged most of the orbs. She used aura sphere at the dark pokemon as they stopped. Darkrai had an army? Oh heck naw

Fortem's eyes widened. Would he be taken away like Yung? He struggled to get through the bars, or bite through them, but it was no use. "Help!" He called, desperately, squeezing his muzzle through, but nothing else. He didn't want to go!

Audax was encouraged by Azure's leadership, and tackled another pokemon in the army. Pokemon around him had begun to attack too... Audax hoped he wouldn't do something bad accidentaly, like hit one of them, instead. However, he didn't really need to worry about that, as the masks were clear to see.

He was immediately vanished away, the last thing Fortem saw was Emerald reaching out to him, in tears...
A moments later. He appeared somewhere, it seemed to be underwater but they were safe in a sense...in a corner though, a very familiar Lucario looked up at the newcomer, blinking in surprise as he saw who it was.

The Aura Sphere blasted two pokemon away, Audex tackled a few more. However, more pokemon were reinforcing the army, and were hurling orbs which had all sorts of trajectories

"Yung!?" Fortem exclaimed, both relieved and panicked to see the familiar pokemon. Where were they? What was happening? Why was Mortis even doing this? It was alarming how much he didn't know. "What's going on?" He asked.

Audax tried tackling one more pokemon, but for every one he attacked, two more seemed to appear! He leaped towards another, but got hit by one od the mystereous orbs himself, sending him backwards.

"Oh dear..." Yung sighed and shook his head sadly. "You got captured too...I was hoping that accursed Darkrai wouldn't get to you..." He held out his arms.

They were chanting...chanting about the world ending and how it was just punishment they should accept.

Yeah... this seemed like some sort of cult to Audax, at least. He folded his ears, and leaped back into the Fray, fighting on his own. He used swift, taking out 2 pokemon, and kicked another behind him.

Fortem moved forward into them. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Emerald and the rest of us were searching for you..."

Meka and Audax were successfully whittling down the pokemon there

"The attack certainly looked like a fatal blow. It was just an attack to drain my energy and knock me out." He pulled the wolf in closer and embraced him. "But don't worry about me, you've been through so much..." He cuddled him, like a caring father. "I'm sorry you had to get caught up in this."

"It's fine," Fortem told Yung. "I'm just glad that you're alive... I wish there was some way to tell the others..." Fortem looked around. "Where are we?" He asked, nervously.

"We're...I believe we're in one of the temples." Yung said. "We can't get out, Darkrai's sealed the bloody room." He said as he comforted Fortem. "But Fortem...don't worry, everything will be alright. Have faith...and don't hold back your feelings."

The combined forces at the camp were eventually able to stave the attack off.
"That Darkrai is a definite threat we have to eliminate now..." Azure snarled lightly

Fortem let out a sigh of both annoyance and hopelessness from the situation, and paced the room a bit... "I wonder why he put us in a temple? Is there anything we can do to help the others from here?" He asked, skeptically. He wanted something to do, and to feel useful... but the answer would probably be no.

"Thats... pretty worrying." Personally, Fortem didn't want the world to end; he lived in it after all. "Do you think maybe we're bait, or leverage?" He asked Yung while sniffing around the room.

Meka couldn't agree more, quite honestly. She hated Darkrai with a passion. Maybe not this particular Darkrai to start with, but they'd shown themselves to be nothing but trouble.

Fortem nodded, hard to see in the dark. "Yeah... what were you thinking?" He paced around a bit.

If Audax was feeling bold enough, he would ask Azure what was happening after the fight... it seemed super strange and odd that he already knew what was going on... He swiped at another masked pokemon.

Audax stood on the side, looking at the documents as well, but from far away. After reading so many books, it was a miracle he didn't need any sort of glasses yet; his vision was still good. He squinted as he tried to look at the documents.

Fortem thought for a moment. What should he say? About his family, or life, or intrests? "...I like mago berries a lot," He ended up saying. Yes, it sounded dumb to him... it was a start at least. "I like board games too... and card games, but not ones that use too much luck, just games where you can have.. mental battle instead of a physical ones...."
