I tried to look around for this suggestion. So if this has already been suggested already, just let me know.
As some of you may know, in the real pokemon games. You can 'level up' your pokeballs by trading them in with "what's his name" (Credit: Pokemon Heart Gold). I say we have that some concept for this game. It could be a great help for the honey tree. We could do something like:

10 pokeballs can be traded in for one great ball
20 pokeballs and one great ball can be traded in for an ultra ball
30 pokeballs, 10 great balls, and five ultra balls can be traded in for a master ball

You can change these numbers as you please. I was just throwing numbers out there... what do y'all think?
Let me know if I need to explain a bit more or if this has already been suggested ^^

Edit: Maybe we could get rid of master balls from this list?
Edit #2: maybe it could help this suggestion?

The only problem I have with this is the master ball one. The items you say are required for it seem to be too cheap, as a master ball is quite difficult to obtain in game. Perhaps it should be a trade of 50 ultra balls, or even 100 just so the economy doesn't die. And that's if this suggestion is added at all. Since master balls are not in game yet, I would think they should have a special quest or be an extremely rare find when rumbling.

Here is how I would do it:

5 pokeballs can be traded in for one great ball
5 pokeballs and one great ball can be traded in for an ultra ball
100 ultra balls can be traded in for a master ball

Well the amount of pokeballs/greatballs/ultraballs you can trade can be changed. I'm just trying to get the general idea out there

I like, just I think the economy will crash if too many people buy poke balls, so I think the only possible downside/new good note would be that pokeballs would be priced higher, but still like

That's true, but the Pokeheroes economy is always changing. As long as it's not something that'll destroy the economy I don't think it's a huge problem :/

Support! As of now, I have yet to obtain a master ball. Also, the process of getting pokeballs other than the stadard is tedious in my opinion

But yeah, the trade for a masterball would have to be changed, but you stated that it's possible so yeah
