Fortem used stone edge once more and lifted the creature up on a platform, disabling it from going back underground. This should make it easier, he hoped.

Fortem covered the creature with a layer of sand using sand attack, then approached the chest, opening it slowly. He'd check out the instrument afterwards.

It was a yellow amulet...glowing like the sand in the daytime. Shining like the light of the sun
The instrument was...a yellow drum of sorts.

Fortem handed the amulet to mewtwo for safe keeping, then sniffed the drums, and picked them up, putting the strap attatched to the drums around his neck. "So... should we head back then?"

Zoey picked the amulet up and look at it and moon looks at the drums and said these have to be conected but probly not just a therory "

There was only one amulet and drum....but regardless.
"Look at that blue beam...it looks like it's beaming up to the sky." Mewtwo said. "Maybe we should step on it and it'll get us out of here?"

"Seems a little sketchy to me," Fortem commented. "But I guess we could try..." Cautiously, he stepped in front of the beam. It didn't smell like anything... seemed safe enough. He stepped in front of it.

It seemed as though being in the temple and travelling across the desert either took longer than they thought of it warped their perception of time. Either way, the sun rises over a new day

Fortem yawned. It was already morning? He didn't even realised that he'd shifted forms into dusk or midninght.... maybe it was an effect of the temple, or maybe he was too focused to realise. Either way, the desert seemed more peaceful today, with less gusts of winds sending sand around.
