Fortem felt his tail begin to wag. "Thank you!" He said gratefully.
"We should go find Emerald, then... I wonder where he went? Maybe
to go find others?" He sniffed the clearing, finding his scent,
though it was difficult, with a while city living in the area.
[Fortem]
"Hm...probably." He nodded. The events have shaken him too but he
was dealing with it. He would start rallying the others also while
offering a berry to Fortem
"O-oh, thank you," He took the berry, and smiled at mewtwo gladly.
He didn't know much about the pokemon, but he was always very
friendly and hard working, and Fortem didn't want to pressure
Mewtwo into talking. Still, it was strange he didn't have a name.
Fortem put the thought aside, and tried to follow Emerald's scent
through the camp.
Drew woke up and felt refreshed for the day. He set out to do some
training for today. Drew tried to find a good tree to target, but
no luck. He went a little further, and found one. “Alright!” Drew
thought happily. He tried using his thunder punch on it but it
wasn’t strong enough and he slammed his hand in the tree. He
shouted in pain, but he tried again. After numerous fails, he
decided to go back to camp.
[Meka]
“Beat him up for me...and make him bring dad back. Anyways. Second
temple on the mountains, gonna go wake Winter now!” He ran off.
“Maybe you can go first! You’re plenty strong!” That voice was in
the distance
[Fortem]
Emerald was running back to the camp, that can be seen
[Drew]
Azure greeted Drew. “Are you prepared to travel today?”
Fortem's tail wagged happily. "Oh, there you are, Emerald! Mewtwo
is coming, too." He nodded at the purple pokemon. "Do you want to
start the journey to get your dad back, or what?!" He said. Fortem
was feeling nervous (a lot of things could go seriously wrong), but
kept it together for emerald. Besides, bravery was contagious, even
as an act.
Meka floated up at this. Beat him up. Sure thing. She sprinted back
toward the mountains. I will get you for that lunch money.
She swore mentally. Darkrai was the reason she had aura sphere as
one of her moves. It used to be thunderbolt, but that wasn't really
working out.
Fortem nodded, and turned back to Mewtwo. "Lets go!" Feeling
energized after eating the berry mewtwo had offered him, and more
courageous after speaking to emerald, he began jogging relatively
quickly through the forest. Before long, they'd reached the foot of
the mountain, and begun the treacherous climb up.
“Oh Hello Azure.” Drew said. Drew received the info on the
traveling. Drew nodded. “Traveling, huh.” Drew said. “Alright. I
guess so. I’ll get my bandanna and I’ll be ready.“
Meka was way ahead by now, up the mountain, searching for a
particular shadow-dwelling nightmare demon to feel her wrath. She
could practically taste the revenge, it was so close, but not close
enough.
Winter's ears pricked at the sound of pawsteps, but he didn't lift
his head, feeling out of it.
“Oh ok!” Drew said. Drew ran in the direction of the mountains to
try to catch up with Fortem and Mewtwo. He turned facing Azure
saying “Goodbye!” And left.
Fortem and Mewtwo had finally reached the peak! It was a sight they
hadn't been able to admire yesterday, due to... the strong emotion.
Fortem could still feel part of the aura trail... he brushed the
thought away, and turned to Mewtwo. "Hmm... should we wait for
Emerald and the others, or go look for a temple?" He asked, not
confident in his own judgement (but if he had to choose, he'd
rather wait; it was safer).
Fortem nodded, a little anxiously. "Sounds good." He turned to see
Drew running up the mountain behind them. "Oh, hello!" He waved at
drew with his tail. "That was a fast climb! You're Drew, right?" He
never got the pokemon's name.
