Kali opened her eyes and looked at her, then paused. “I guess it does...” she replied, also having a strange feeling.

Finally, he was at the same floor. With a wide smile on his face, he carefully walked the hallways until he reached Kali’s room and opened the door, not knowing if she was in there or not

Alarm runs through her. Now that she was listening closely, she could clearly hear Kali's door opening. She swallows down a shaky breath. She grabs a chair and shoves it underneath her doorknob. "We need to leave...now" she tells Kali. She leans against the door, hoping her bodyweight and the chair is enough to stop whoever is after them

She nods and stared at the door, slowly getting out of her chair. She had a bad feeling about this... Was she really going to have to go through this again? She wouldn’t be able to do much if the person got in, and she knew that she was too fragile to survive a fall from the window.

Komoto looked around the room carefully, making sure no one was in there before attempting to open Zero’s door. Once he found out that he couldn’t open it, he backed away and smiled, then took out a few knives and prepared to throw them at the door (I’m assuming that they are wooden?)

“Luke what the hell is going on?” Tazuli asked, she didn’t know what was going to happen to Luke and she was worried, the fact that she couldn’t do anything is worse “Viper, get your healing friend here, now!” (that is plus ultra dramatic xD)

Amane was worried too but he couldn’t do anything either, if he tried to use his flames it will only make the injury worse for Luke

Zero was thinking the same thing. She was strong. But a drop from the third floor could be devasting. The only thing left to do would be to set up a trap. She thinks quickly. She quickly races towards Kali and gestures for her to hide behind the wall. "I'll releases enough electricity to distract him. It'll take a lot of concentration, but I'll try to make a safe path for you to escape without being zapped" she frowns. Trying to think about how she'll manage that. Other than last night, it's been awhile since she used her power in a fight. "I'll follow right behind you after that" she finishes. Although she doesn't sound too convinced

Kali was slightly worried that the plan wouldn’t work out, but went with it anyways. She nodded and did what she was asked. What if she wasn’t quick enough? What if she was clumsy and accidentally got zapped? She hadn’t thought this much about something in a while...

Komoto threw some knives at the door, impaling it. He repeated this until there were no more large spaces in between the spikes the knives gave. He could’ve easily broken the door down by now, but he wanted to have some fun. All those other people ruined it for him yesterday

Zero shuts her eyes and bows her head for a second. She stands in the middle of the room, clear within view of Komoto (when he eventually enters). She would have to be old Zero for this. Anger brims through her. She wants the old her to die, but the old her is the only way they could possibly survive. She can't be afraid, can't be afraid to hurt. Most importantly, she can't flinch in the possible face of death. The switch comes easy to her. She can already feel the addictive feeling moving through her...The need to draw blood. She'll only give in a little

Leaf sat at a park bench and let her cat walk around. Leaf dangled a cat toy in front of her and Snowbell started pouncing to catch it, more often then not missing.

He managed to kick down the door, not surprised to see Zero standing right there, the beautiful look in her eyes made him smile. Just like Darius said, they were both the same. The only thing setting him apart from Darius was that he was brutally relentless with meaningless and unpredictable actions. He was also glad to kill himself just to meet his goal. Him and Zero were nearly equals... They both had a much darker and eviler side compared to their calm and settled side. Komoto only has a thinner line between his two sides, that’s all. Oh but you couldn’t forget about the thirst for blood, the temptation that it gave them. They both wanted to see the light leave people’s eyes, but not without shattering their hope.

Kali could tell that Zero was different now, she didn’t seem calm like she was before. Her gut twisted a bit when she figured out that she was letting the old Zero show, the one she absolutely despised. She gritted her teeth and let out a quiet sigh. Kali really didn’t want to get involved in this, not only due to her state. She didn’t want to be like Zero, fighting herself to see who they really were, it was too exhausting. Besides, she would rather keep her old self hidden

Totally didn’t see you put Roxy instead of Zero XD

"Well well well. Look who we have here?" Zero says with a slight purr. "I have to say, I am quite impressed at your relentless... Somebody couldn't wait to get scarred up again.." she shakes her head. No... Don't play the part she scolds herself. She was doing this to protect Kali, not to kill this guy. Without another word she releases her electricity. Firing it at Komoto. As promised she manages to make a pathway. Although she finds that it's very difficult to control her power. Every few moments a stray volt smacks into the pathway at random. She narrows her eyes, trying to focus on making a safe pathway and trying to hit Komoto with some volts. Since she is more focused on the pathway she pretty much misses Komoto entirely. At least now he can't attack Kali without getting hit.

Kali was a bit late to notice the pathway and stayed hidden for a few seconds longer than needed. She watched the scene, hating the fact that her suspicions were right. She curses herself for sitting there a bit too long before following the pathway, looking back at the two along the way. She wished she could do something but that would just get her killed...

Komoto smiled even more now, seeing the attitude Zero gave him. A few bolts hit him and he recoiled a bit, but not by much. He didn’t mind the sting it gave, it just let him have more excuses to go insane. “Aww how sweet, the tough girl is doing all she can to protect her little friend!” He taunted, a small laugh left his mouth afterwards. “How’s those wounds coming along?” He asked with a very wide smile, basically giving away what he was about to do next.

She doesn't react to his words. At least, not visibly. She was panicking inside. She had a clear plan for Kali's escape, but not her's. Sure, she felt like she was a monster who deserved to die... But she didn't want to die like this! Especially by a psychopath. If she was going down, she would drag him down with her. At least this would ensure that he wouldn't hurt anyone else. She waits until Kali safely passes before she tosses the electricity at Komoto like a net. The second she does this, she feels weak. That had taken up too much energy. She races towards the door, hoping to reach it before Komoto activated his power

The attack Zero launched at him hurt a lot and probably momentarily messed with his nerves, but he easily shook it off. He wasn’t going to let them get away that easily... He used his power on both of them to freeze them in place, inches from their escape. He almost let out a sigh of relief, knowing that any later would’ve let them get away. “Why don’t you want to play with me?” He pouted, somehow still feeling the lingering effects of Zero’s attack. He pulled both of them towards him, attempting to drag them through Zero’s electricity and hopefully damage them. He usually couldn’t use his power on 3 or more targets at once without losing a lot of energy, so just two would be enough to make him sweat a bit.

No... no no no he got them! She couldn’t move anymore... She was trapped, helpless against that psychotic murderer...

Zero glances at Kali from the corner of her eye. If she were able to, she would tell Kali to not be afraid. She has a feeling this guy likes his victims to be afraid. She does what she does best, hide her true feelings. She steadily meets his gaze with an icy glare. She doesn't respond to him, not that she could. Her electricity causes a bit of a shock to move through her. But her body is use to it. She is more worried about how Kali will react to it.

Komoto doesn’t react to the glare, he is unaffected by any look his opponents gave him. None of them unnerved him or made him think a little bit differently in the situation. He smiled and held them in place, right in front of him. He wanted to give them the luxury of the worst death he could possibly think of. He made it a thing to give his opponents a certain type of death based on what he felt about them. He gave casual deaths like a stab in the heart or a gun to the head to people he didn’t even know, people he just killed for fun. He gave the worst possible ones to the people he knew he would remember, people who have either pissed him off or escaped his grasp. “Now now... Don’t try to fight against me my little dolls... Let’s have some fun together before I throw you away, alright?” He cooed.

Kali tried not to show any emotions like what Zero was doing, but she had no luck. She hadn’t done something like this in so long, her body seemed to forget everything. She grew slightly more angrier with every word he said, but she couldn’t let it show. He was absolutely terrifying and she didn’t want to see what he was like if you fought back. The pain of the electricity almost overwhelmed her, leaving her skin slightly charred. She tightly closed her eyes and winced as quietly as she could. She was sure that if this was a year ago, she would’ve been able to handle this much better but sadly it wasn’t like that.

Zero wasn't ready to give up yet. Sure, fighting could make this worse. But she refused to just sit here and allow this to happen. She tries everything she could possibly do. She first tries to move any part of her body, which fails. Next, she tries to summon some electricity. Even though there is typically no movement involved, she has a hard time summoning a volt large enough to damage Komoto. Her lack of energy doesn't help too much either.

Darius is on the hunt now. He had hoped that his words would've gotten through to Komoto. Obviously they haven't. He is a long walk away from the apartment. He can just barley sense their powers. They seemed to have gotten faint, as if they were moving away from him. Now they suddenly are stopped in once place. He lets out an annoyed grumble. Komoto would pay for this. Darius just has to hope he can get to them in time. Heis going to kill Zero. Not Komoto.

The attacks were starting to effect him. He could now slightly feel the pain, but he wouldn’t let that stop him. He makes small spikes out of blood slowly come out of Zero’s skin, right where the wounds from yesterday had been. This wouldn’t kill her, but it would hurt a lot. He had to be more careful with Kali... She was weak and already hurt, meaning that something small could easily kill her. He smiled at the thought of killing them right now, but he had to be patient with himself. He makes Kali hold her hand out and he gently placed a knife in it. Now she had a weapon, but only if she could break free. He slowly forced her arm to come closer to her other arm and hold the knife to her skin. After that, he made her make small cuts on her skin. After he was done he forced her to hold the knife to her neck, ready to slice at any second. “See that my friend? That would be considered suicide. I dream for it, you know? But alas, I have a job to do...” he said sadly. “But would it be a shame if your friend here did such thing? She would never do it, right?” He said with a small laugh

Kali didn’t know what to do. This man was crazy... She could tell that Zero was trying her best to get them both out of this, but it somehow didn’t work. Surely he had to feel a good amount of pain from that, right? The cuts on her arms burned, but what hurt worse was what she was forced to do.

Any normal person would've called out in pain. But old Zero was back and ready for blood. While a pained look crosses her face, it's the reaction to what's happening to her that's much more sinister. She starts laughing, as if she were enjoying the pain. Because she can't move her jaw the laughter sounds a bit off. Is this his best attempt at imitation? Zero wonders. Oh... If only he knew what she had once done. A bored look crosses over her face now. If only she could break free... She would show him..No..
(That's it! I'm officially commiting. She suffers from Multi-Personality Disorder. Spoiler alert: Old Zero is just a defense mechanism)

“Don’t push your luck there...” he smiled. Seeing this part of her filled him with excitement. He enjoyed it when people would thirst for blood, it made him feel like people finally understood him. Although that wasn’t his goal, it was still a good plus. “I’m trying to give you the best possible death I can give...” he makes the spikes bigger, expanding the holes in her skin and trying to cause as much pain without killing. What if... He decided to distract her by talking while he did his work. “It seems as if you have forgotten your friend here... Wasn’t this all to protect her? If that knife cuts into her skin, all you did would be for nothing, now would it?” He gave a small chuckle before turning his head to Kali. “You know... I thought you were stronger than that, not some lazy jerk who can even defend herself...” he taunted her, trying to get her to do the same that Zero has done. He knew that it was there, but didn’t know how much it would take...

The blade of the knife grew colder and colder as it pressed against her skin, so close to cutting in to it. She hated this... Being forced to commit suicide if her companion didn’t cooperate? What made it worse is that the old Zero was back, the one who would fight back, hoping to win and somehow always does.

Azalea threw open the door to the apartment and raced up the stairs. When she saw Luke she knew exactly what to do. She moved her hand over the cut, healing it. She also takes quite a lot of his energy.
