May groans when she notices that Roxy has caught up with them. She did it so quickly too... She watched them as she was hidden in the shadow of the taxi, thankful that today wasn’t a very clear day. God it would be annoying to move around every time they changed direction or they passed a low building.

Phee noticed a taxi following them from Jay’s side and frowned a bit, her hand lowering off of Jay’s cheek. What in the world were they doing? Surely they hadn’t just happened to follow them, right? She noticed Jay’s shaking got worse and immediately connected the dots. Someone nearby was a threat to him.

The lone figure's name was Jax. He stopped and waited or the Taxis to Smash into him.

Staring out the window, Sorrento tapped out a beat on his bag watching the city fly past him. If there was one downside to living by the sea, it would be the stupid amount of money that went into transportation costs. He would have taken the bus down to the beach before walking home, but the large base clarinet case that sat beside him would not do well in the crowded space of public transport. Thus, he shelled out a extra bit of money for a taxi ride, at least ensuring that his precious equipment would stay safe. Squinting as his ride slowed down, Sorrento leaned forward seeing a figure at the middle of the road. Huh, that wasn't a normal thing, but it wasn't the weirdest thing he'd ever seen. Being a musician meant that he had seen his fair share of weird and wacky things. Let it be known that musicians are bonkers and should never be trusted.
He was getting off topic. The main concern was that there was someone blocking traffic and Sorrento hated being late to get home. It meant that his fiance would whine his ear off about it and demand cuddles for the rest of the night. Not that he minded but he had an image to uphold.

The driver groaned when he saw Jax in the road and slowed to a stop. Honking horns could soon be heard afterwards followed by angry drivers’ yells. He always hated it when traffic came into play during his work, it was always an inconvenience. “Ah great...” he muttered before pressing into the middle of the steering wheel, releasing a loud honk.

Inkli's smile faded. "You look disappointed." He seemed genuinely concerned. "What seems to be the issue, my friend?" He had a friendly tone, and he referred to Barry as 'my friend,' even though he didn't even know his name yet.

"What the-" Jumping at the crunch of a taxi hood, Sorrento glanced out at the traffic and groaned. It was still a while until he could walk home with the case and not feel like his arms were going to fall out of their sockets at any given moment. So for now, he was stuck waiting in traffic while a random dude blocked everything and punched in a taxi hood. Great. Idly digging through his bag, he brought out his phone and sent a quick text to his fiance, telling him that traffic was horrid and that he'd be late. No sense in stirring up a panic so he left out the part about the ruined taxi not two lanes across from him.

May rejected the order and glared at him. Great... another one of the damned Cupids she hated so much. It was funny, seeing that they weren’t supposed to have their own mind or do anything other than orders, but they did. Must’ve been how the Eros came to be. Overwhelmed by emotions and thoughts of their own, that they suddenly break free from the life they lived. Strange... She stayed hidden in the shadows, not even caring about what was going on.

Yelling in surprise, the driver immediately got out of the car and glared at him. “What the hell is wrong with you!” He yelled furiously, glancing between the hood of the car and Jax. “You can’t go around and do sh** like this!” He added in, not even making sure that Jay and Phee were ok.

Jay’s breathing went off the charts and he was shaking as much as a toy would in an earthquake. He was clearly distressed and visibly worried. He didn’t want to go back to that stupid thing people called the Government. He liked the life he lived and enjoyed the fact that he could love, not be a brainwashed zombie like he used to be

“Who the hell are you talkin about you dumb***?!” The driver yelled as he grew more furious by the second. The taxi wasn’t even his car and he was destroying it like he didn’t even care.

Phee stayed in the car along with Jay, still trying to calm him down. The guy clearly upset him and she could tell.

“Me? Shut my mouth? You’re the idiot running out in front of traffic and destroying things! People have jobs to attend and people to see, but I doubt that your small brain could think of that, huh?!” He was yelling loud enough that the nearby drivers grew silent. None of them would think that a simple taxi driver would stand up to some insane guy.

Jay began to mutter things in fear, knowing he might not have a choice. He wanted to proceed Phee and the only way to do that was to turn himself in.

Phee looked at him and sighed. “Jay, I don’t know what the hell is going on with you and how he knows you, but you’re not doing it. Promise me you won’t.”

“Look, I’ve got the police on the line and they’re on the way. You can’t just do s*** like this!” He yelled again, not caring that Jax could easily hurt him. People were being threatened and he couldn’t stand it.

May looked at him with a very confused look on her face. “Eros?” She was surprisingly calm in this situation as she rested her hand on Jay’s shoulder. “The hell you talking about?” She asked him.

Jay was shaking uncontrollably as he stared at Jax, fearing the next moments.
