The man heard the door open, confused because he though he locked it. He got up from his workstation and went to the door, his cape (looks a bit like Leon’s, but more rugged and dirty) following behind him. It’s a bit late for someone to be out here... he shrugged and opened the door. A stranger was standing there. “Hello?”

"...Hi" Lauren greets shyly, giving a nervous overexaggerated wave. "My name is Angela" she drops her hand and plays with the bracelet on her wrist. "I heard a rumor on the street that this group can time travel" she lowers her voice, "Is this Regenesis?" She asks, "If so, who is in charge here?" She looks up again, meeting his eyes. Her heart races and she has to fight hard not to smile, she is really good at pretending

The old man frowned, surprised that word got on the street about the organization. How did someone find out? A traitor? “Oh... Hello Angela, pleasure to meet you.” He smiled and held out his hand for a shake. “Regenesis? That’s new...” he lied. He wasn’t just going to go around, announcing to anyone who came around here that this was the Regenesis. “You’re free to come inside, we can discuss things there.”

Gill listened in on the conversation from afar. Being an ex-Regen member, he knew who the old man was, and knew that he was lying. He couldn't believe that Lauren, of all people, was switching sides! Wasn't she the one who had been questioning Gill's intentions when he was joining the Rebellion?

Note: (Here she had introduced herself as Angela instead of Lauren, and Gill still didn't know all of their names yet.)

Then again, Lauren didn't seem to be the traitorous type. Realizing that the both of them intended on spying on the Regenesis, he continued listening, recording every word of their conversation. He thought about going over there and helping Lauren join, but remembered that Steve had seen him tear up his Regenesis badge. He would need to stay far out of sight for this to go well.

Lauren follows him in, she looks around by instinct, mapping everything around her in her head, to anyone watching, they would just assume she was curious. "So how do I join?" She asks

“Join? I don’t even know what the ‘Regenesis’ is.” He turned away from Lauren and walked to an almost empty room. “Besides, I’m too old to do much...” he muttered

Lauren turns her head, glaring at his turned back. 'Was he telling the truth?' she rubs a hand through her hair irritatedly. "Oh, so this isn't the place?" She shakes her head, even though he won't see it, she giggles nervously. "Ah well, April fools? It's just a joke amongst the youth, can't believe you fell for it?"

He sighed and turned around to face Lauren. “You’re a few months off, but... I guess I am pretty stupid to for fall for such a childish prank.” He crosses his arms and examined Lauren.

Lauren stiffens slightly under his gaze, she is suddenly self conscious about herself, is she standing too confidently? Too tensely? Is she glaring at him? She spent so long under a mask that the real deal is terrifying. Not something she prepared herself for. She raises an eyebrow, forcing a smile onto her face "Well, I should probably go, I'm sorry for bothering you"

He sighed, feeling like he was a bit to harsh or something. He took a piece of paper out of his pocket and wrapped it around a small piece of candy. “Before you go...” he held out his hand to her. “Take this, I don’t like people leaving with nothing.”

(The paper has info on the Regenesis)

Lauren nods gratefully, she pockets the candy and walks out the door. She walks a block away and rests against the building. 'What now? My biggest lead turned out to be incorrect, and all I got was a lousy peiece of candy' she glances at it and frowns. The wrapping looked like actual paper, with an excited laugh she unwraps the candy and reads the paper

So, you’re interested in joining the Regenesis? In order to join, I will have to ask you to wait until 4 pm tomorrow, whichever day it may be, and come back to this location. See you soon.

Lauren crumples the note, promising to destroy it as soon as she can. 'This was almost too easy' minus the research it took to even find this place. The only problem was it seemed almost too easy to join. With her guard now raised she slowly walks back to her apartment, mentally preparing for tomorrow

Edmund fiddled with his straw a bit more. He wasn't sure why, but he felt compelled by Marci. For some reason, he really wanted to see her more. He wanted to ask her to join Regenesis, but he knew it'd be too early. After all, he had known for her what, two minutes? He looked down as he smiled to himself, then turned to face Marci. "I know we just met, but maybe you'd be interested in meeting up again?" he asked, trying his best not to sound like a creep.

Edmund nodded. He took a last, long sip of his milkshake before standing up, straightening up his clothes as he did so. "There's a park not far from here, if you'd be interested in going there for a bit. I hear the view of the stars there is far out," he suggested excitedly.

"That a new person?" Ashe asked to no one in particular as he stepped inside the building, throwing away a lollipop wrapper that he had kept in his pocket on the way to the HQ. "Whozzat? Never seen them before." Ashe asked the old man, leaning on the walls of the building, lollipop hanging low on his mouth.

Ashe blinked once, twice before coming to the realization that he wasn't at the Regenesis meeting. Right, he overslept. "Ashe Varley. Came through the back door." The purple haired male simply shrugged. "Sorry for the intrusion I guess. I wasn't at the meeting so uh, yeah." Ashe drawled on, staring at his mismatchef socks.

On the way to the Rebellion HQ, Winston noticed two teenagers walking side to side, probably enjoying a lovely date. "Oh, to be young and fall in love again." The young adult chuckled, talking to no one in particular. He never had a first love. He was more than willing to erase his memory of the one night stand with the purple haired stranger. Who were they to begin with?
