Quinn grins and reaches a hand out to Kitsune. "Why hello" she says softly. Jax returns and lays down near the two, seemingly uninterested, but he keeps a watchful eye out on the strangers, tensing up whenever it appears one is coming close

She blinked and sniffed the hand. Normally, people just pet her, and it made her feel crowded. It's nice when people let her sniff them first. She liked this person.

Kibin watched Kitsune, but didn't seem to mind Quinn interacting with her. He understood Kitsune, usually, but it wasn't like her to approach people on her own. Maybe she sensed kindness in that girl?

As if knowing the fox gave her permission, Quinn starts to pet the fox, pausing for a moment to scratch behind Kitsune's ears, a gesture Jax loves. She looks around to see who the guide belongs to and catches Kibin watching her. "Is this your guide?" She asks loud enough for him to hear her across the table

Kibin was mildly startled hearing her speak to him. "Uh- Yeah, She's Kitsune. She doesn't approach people often. She must like you." He realised he should probably not yell across the hall, and walked over.

Kitsune was enjoying the attention for once. Usually people were rough with her, like she was some kind of dog.

"Ah, well, I like to think I am an approachable person" Quinn responds. She gently puts Kitsune on her lap and continues to pet her. "That's Jax" she says, pointing to the large lion behind her. Sensing the attention, Jax sits up and lets out a soft rumble

Kitsune was loving life. She leaned into the touch happily.

Kibin looked on, surprised. "Wow, she never acts like this with strangers." He looked over at the lion and grinned. "That's a cool lion, I don't think I've ever seen a white one before."

Stumbling with lead feet, Queen slowly made his way to the lab, guilt gnawing away at him. A part of him wondered where Drake and Mika were. How Kela was since her mentor got picked up and carried away.

"What can I say? I'm good with animals" Quinn looks over at Jax, as if noticing his fur color for the first time. "I guess he is just special" she says, her voice distanced as a memory came across her. But it disappeared as quickly as it came.

Kitsune seemed to notice too, nudging her softly.

Kibin, an idiot, did not notice. He was too busy trying to come up with something to talk about, like a person with substance does. "It's nice to meet you."

"Ah, nice to meet you too" her friendly tone quickly reappears, she gives Kitsune one last scratch before placing her back down on the ground and stretching. "I wonder what'll happen today"

Kitsune trotted back to Kibin, giving Quinn what looked like a thankful expression.

Kibin shrugged. "Could be anything. I hope we do more training, I want to test out my new Katana." He smiled softly. He's passionate about his training, agility and sword fighting in particular. He didn't use his elemntal magic often - he usually forgets it's there.

Quinn nods in agreement, she had her heart set on soilder training. "I agree, but only to use my elemental magic. I find that it's easier and much more powerful than what my weopons can do" she explains

"Oh, I almost never use my elemental magic. I don't really like it." He conjures a fireball in his hand, gazing at it with mild irritability. "Fire just has an evil kind of aura to me. It's also the same power my dad had, so... I guess I still hold a grudge." He trails off. Kitsune nudges him lovingly.

"What a conscience" Quinn opens her palm to also form a fireball. "And you're right. Fire can be chaotic, but only if you use it that way" she closes her palm, extingushing the fire. "Uses your elemental power, especially to harm someone should be your last casinero" she shrugs. "I don't know... that's my short bit of wisdom about fire" she adds
