Melon's mom went looking for Melon. Before, she was talking to
Melon's friends' parents including Jin's dad, a Hoopa (Unbound) and
Kuru's mom, a huge pink Lapras. She found Melon in the bathroom
outside the gym staring at her dull reflection in the mirror.
"Melon, hon...let's go! The ceremony's starting so let's hurry!"
Melon nodded slowly and followed her mom back into the gym. She sat
down next to her friends, tears in her eyes for so many different
reasons.
Winter stared at the flute as Emerald played it. It was at this
point Typhoon walked it. Crying, Winter stalked back to the
bleachers next to his mother for the final ceremony. The sound of a
microphone tapping was heard.
“It may seem like a dream...but at least it was a good
one...right...?” He said quietly to Winter, and pressed a map onto
his paws of his home island and the sky kingdom before Winter left
Winter took a good look at the map before tucking it under his arm.
He'd later forget about this, but the image was burned into his
mind, as if his brain had taken a photograph. This wasn't the last
Emerald would see of him.
Typhoon then spoke. "If everyone would quiet down, please?" Luna
was floating next to him.
Princess Jewel smiled at them and waited attentively for the
principal. The Carbink that were with her sat next to her on her
other side.
Jin teleported a bucket of popcorn to himself and started munching
on it. Melon's friends and their parents waited silently and
excitedly for the ceremony. Melon tried to be happy for her
friends, for her mom, for the ceremony that's supposed to be
exciting...but...

Jin opened up a ring above Shade's head and started flicking pieces
of popcorn through the ring. He quickly closed it before Shade
could respond and snickered.

"I'd like to thank all of you for coming, first off. Students, for
attending, it has been a great year. Parents, I thank you for
allowing your students to stay with us, for giving us this chance,
and for all the unexpected twists this journey has brought upon us,
it was all an adventure in the end, and the memories made will be
with us forever. Again I thank you all!" Typhoon spoke into the
microphone, though his voice would have carried just fine without
it. Probably why it wasn't even on.
Melon hesitated before asking Jin, "Hey...can you send this to him
too?" She rifled through the bag she always carried and gave Jin
the object. Jin opened a portal above Shade's head again and tossed
through it a bottle of super special sweet and spicy honey. It had
a carefully written note attached to it. Jin closed the portal
again. Cinder and Kuru smiled at each other. It had been a pretty
interesting and crazy year...
Meet the Twins, Cookie and Cream! 🍪🥛 (Shade named them)
Jin listened to the copy of the song, but Melon and the others
couldn't hear with all the loud applause from the students and
their parents in the crowded gym. He opened the ring above Shade's
head again and tossed the song back through it saying, "Shade, you
and your sister have horrible taste in music! Sorry but...this
isn't my style!" Before Jin had a chance to close the hoop, Melon
expanded it and exclaimed through it, "And make sure to read my
note!! Please!...I spent a lot of time making it!!" Jin then closed
the hoop for good...hopefully.
Jin stammered, "Oh...it's uhhh really good? I'll definitely keep it
and definitely listen to it again sometime!!" He put the song away
in a different hoop that opened up over a random trash can.
The note read:
"I would apologize here but I don't think you would accept it so
I'm just going to say good things and hopefully they cheer you up!
Why do I care or bother? Because like it or not, I really do care
about you and I know how you...feel... I...enjoyed this year...with
you...it was fun and I made so many memories at this school...this
is probably goodbye for good so...I hope you enjoy the honey!" The
last sentence "Can you ever forgive me?" was scribbled over but
Melon didn't hide it well.
"Before we start the graduation, I'd like to take the time to
appreciate our teachers, and allow each of them to appreciate each
of you, be it student, parent, sibling or cousin. I'll let the
teachers take it away." Typhoon turned on the microphone and passed
to to Mrs. Ruby first, who stepped up and delivered her own little
speech.
"I'd like to thank all my students in my Web class for your
attention and attendance of my class. I'd like to say it was fun
teaching you all, and an emotional roller coaster all around. Some
of you made me laugh, some made me cry, but I'd like to say I love
each of you and thank you for attending! To my Web students, a
heartfelt goodbye and good luck in the future." Tearing up, she
handed the mic to Mrs. Diane.
