Summer raced toward the ball, ramming into it and flinging it into the direction of the goal. Soccer was fun! She had no idea why Winter hated it so much.

Princess Jewel nodded and took the necklace, examining it. She looked up and noticed Kitsune. "Who's this little one?"

Cinder sighed and thought to herself, I guess I'm the goalie... She was too far away to reach the ball ,though, so it bounced into the net. Cinder ran to the net and took the ball out, shooting it back onto the field using Fleur Cannon.

Jewel exclaimed, "You...have a son?? But...nevermind...here..." She gave back the necklace that was now fixed and looked almost brand new. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Kitsune." She smiled at the little Eevee.

Summer ran to try and meet the ball, but Zora was faster, and Summer kept forgetting she was on the opposite team. She almost forgot to chase after her when she was already on the way to her team's goal.

Summer was unable to reach the goal in time, causing Zora to score for the other team, hardly seeming to notice her best friend pursuing her as she did, laser focused on the game.

Time skip to the end of the year. Graduation time!

Winter awoke that morning, brushing his hair in the dorm for the last time. Graduation day had arrived. It would be sad, leaving all his school friends, but he needed the free time to hang out with his sister, then start sharpening his battle skills. After waving to his roommates, he got out of bed and packed his things. He put them into a place where he could retrieve them after the ceremony, then skipped off, going straight to the gym. The halls were packed.

Summer had packed before she had gone to bed. She and Zora had decided, they were going to continue school and get jobs together. They'd discussed this with Winter, and were a little disappointed to find that Winter was more interested in becoming a better battler than getting a real job. She might end up not seeing him again for a long time, so she wanted to get in a good goodbye before the end of the ceremony.

Zora was glad Summer had agreed to keep her along. she had bonded greatly with the Vulpix and was happy that they weren't planning on separating any time soon. Zora was awful at making friends, and worse at keeping them, so she was grateful that Summer understood her so well. She hadn't really known Winter, but she hoped she'd get to know him better at some point. She followed Summer out the door.

Emerald breathed in. It had...been an odd time at school at least. But a time he wouldn't forget. It was time...he had received a letter from his father regardless about discovering an island...as well as a kingdom in the sky. More exploration...
