Winter gave a slight nod. "Yeah. I think I know why. You did see
how everyone was behaving yesterday, right?" He walked at a steady
pace down the hall, matching his steps with Emerald's as best he
could, with four legs.
Crystalline walked past the two boys, catching up with Zora and
Summer and almost tripping over them.
He glanced at him "Yeah." As he walked through the gym doors into
the class. "But we're at gym now. We'll just have to hope he's in a
better mood tomorrow." He shrugged and started walking toward the
ball room, where his usual rubber ball would be.
Winter ran out of the room, bouncing the rubber ball. His ears
twitched at the sounds of the footsteps of the other students
flooding into the gym. This time, there was a lopunny in one
corner, the same lopunny that had been rescued from the shadow
place all that time ago.
Winter bounced his ball for a bit while glancing in the direction
of the loppunny. He wondered if she'd be helping with PE class
today, as he knew she was some kind of sports coach. She was simply
looking at her phone, and was wearing some kind of earpieces, as if
she was listening to something.
Winter continues bouncing his ball around, glancing at the gym
entrance as if just waiting for more students to come in. He
figured that was why class hadn't started yet, as some students
were still coming from math and science.
Emerald noticed something odd. He hadn't seen much of Shade
recently as well as Melon. Drama always swirled around the two of
them. Perhaps it could be better that way...nah, probably not.
Maybe? He decided not to dwell on it
Emerald jumped. He heard Shade's voice but he was nowhere to be
seen. "I guess so?" He said uncertainly as he slowly resumed to do
what he was doing. There was no teacher in sight yet after all
Winter's ear twitched and he once again glanced at the Loppunny
upon hearing Shade's voice. She was the only grown-up in sight as
far as he could tell, it seemed the coach hadn't arrived yet.
"The heck Shade? We're in class!" He wasn't sure if Shade could
hear him or not. He certainly didn't. He assumed it was telepathy
as he certainly did not have a mobile device of any sort.
