Crystalline was pretty sure the plastic utensils would float, but she supposed it would depend on the plastic. "We can try them." She moved the lab sheet closer to her with a paw, and waited for Emerald to place them in the tank.

Plop! They hit the water, floating like tiny little boats on the surface. Crystalline recorded this and looked at the others, wondering if they had guessed correctly as she had.

Of course, the metal coins sank to the bottom with a bloopShe reached to the bottom of the tank and fished them out, stepping aside so Emerald could do his thing.

The berry bobbed on the surface, rocking back and forth. Meanwhile, Crystalline rapidly recorded the results and placed the materials in a neat pile.

Winter left his own group as the bell rang, bored out of his mind. "That was so boring!" he muttered as he went to find Emerald. He had seen him at the tank with Ruby and a Suicune he'd never met, and assumed she was new.

Crystalline nodded to him and went to the gym without another word, quietly screaming. Finally they could do something fun!
