Eraqus' body began to dissolve into light, gently floating up and away, to Arceus knows where. Left behind was Gira's first letter and an egg, sitting calmly among the destruction.

"Watch it." Isa snapped, flinching away from Zexion as the other cleaned up his wounds. He hadn't sustained much damage but a Golbat had gotten a lucky hit in and left two nasty scratches on his face.
