His eyes slowly opened, his thoughts pacing backwards and forwards as he felt himself being healed. He opened his mouth to speak but no words came out.

There was a slight pinching sensation as the bones and muscles in Maddox's legs reconnected, it was quick and a bit painful but once it was over the wound closed up, there would be scars. Nina looked at him. "There'll be some scars on your legs, but your legs will be just fine. You feeling better?"

Felicia cracked her neck before stretching a bit. Finally her chance had come. Fortunately for her, her last opponent bailed. This allowed her abilities to remain a mystery while she had some knowledge of what Garoka. Still she thought it only fair to share something she could do.

Nova rested in the medical cot, the worst of her wounds healing quickly thanks to Nina's potion.

Charlie and Lucky found Zuki. Lucky parked herself by a tree as Charlie got closer. "Miss? Are, are you okay?"

He nodded silently, forcing himself upwards onto his feet. His eyes were half closed, limping out of the arena slowly. He figured going to the medical room would be a good idea, still feeling incredibly sore. He sat down and spotted Nova from the corner of his vision, his head drooped avoiding her gaze.

Nina spotted Maddox glancing at Nova and pulled a curtain to separate the two. "She'll be okay, she needs rest though." Nina handed him a small glass of green liquid. "Here, drink this. It'll help bring you back to health and heal the rest of your injuries." She disappeared behind the curtain to tend to Nova.

He silently took the drink and drank it with haste, picking his head up slowly. The bags under his eyes appeared more prominent, blinking a few times to take in his surroundings. He scratched his feathers, lost in deep thought.

Nina was frequently back and forth between him and Nova. Most of the time she'd say nothing and check one of his injuries to make sure it was healing properly or bring something with her to help Nova, or rarely she'd come back a heavily bloodied sheet from her ankle wounds. Maddox peeked behind the curtain once just to see how badly he banged her up, it was pretty bad. Nova had been given a sedative to help most lessen the blood loss from her other wounds. Her skin though pale from blood loss was slowly gaining back color, most of her other injuries were healed already, the wounds from where her ankle had been stabbed though Nina was feverishly trying to heal without making the unconscious fighter drink.

Zuki wasn’t looking at them, gritting her teeth. She was locked in a fight with a woman with short black hair and yellow eyes, electricity buzzing off her skin.

Charlie and Lucky hid behind the tree, neither of them fully understanding what was going on. Sure it was a fight between Zuki and this strange yellow eyed woman, but what were they fighting about?

Garoka's eyes fluttered open, the light shining through the room's curtains. He sat up and stretched, then proceeded to slouch as he rubbed his eyes. Today's the day...if I win this, I get to fight Tora, he thought to himself as he kicked his feet off the side of the bed. He stood up, stretching a bit more before changing into his clothes and putting up his hair. He straightened out his jacket, dropping the knife he transmuted a few fights ago into his pocket. He inhaled and exhaled a few times. "I'm ready."
