Eidolon didn't recognize Maya at first. He gently put down the child and laid down the 20-foot corndog against 3 different chairs and check on the figure. "Excuse me...sir? Are you ok? You don't look too hot, actually....you look a bit too hot, are you ok? Do you need water?"

The shocked eidolon had to take a step back in confusion as if they saw a ghost. They end up falling over a chair behind them and stumble to the ground. Their head stung a bit but nothing too much. "Oh, ...heheh... It's just you....oh...ugh....sorry bout that"

Charlie picked up Lucky and sat down in the seat next to Eidolon's, with the child in her lap.

Lucky was occupied by clapping her hands together. At least, until she managed to sneak the sling shot that Grandar gifted her out of Nina's bag. She was turning it over in her hands again, still having no idea how it truly worked.

Eidolon decided that it was probably best to walk away from the whole ordeal. It was only when they turned away that they saw Lucky with the slingshot. Suddenly, Eidolon felt as if they were falling, like they were plunging into darkness but they were used to it, just wishing they had some kind of warning. Grandar was in control now. Grandar rushed over to the child, kneeling next to her and cheerfully watching what she does with the slingshot.

Lucky hadn't noticed Eidolon/Grandar come back over, her eyes were focusing on the slingshot as the gears in her head started turning fiercely as she tried to make sense of the gift. She pulled back on the pouch, the rubber bands slowly puling back, the handle being held by her shoes. The rubber bands snapped back into place as the pouch shot forward when Lucky's fingers released it. There was nothing loaded in the pouch so nothing too eventful happened, other than the child's shock as the rubber bands snapped back into place.

Grandad could see the child adventuring with the slingshot, being flooded with nostalgia of what he had been able to do as a child. All he wanted to do was embrace the child but yielded from it to watch. He felt like a kid in a candy store, shaking with excitement of what she's doing. He gently put down a small pile of rocks next to her to see what could happen next.

Lucky watched Grandar put the small pile of rocks in the empty seat next to her then looked up at him for a moment before looking back at the rocks. Her tiny hands picked up a smallish rock and put it in the pouch before again pulling back and releasing. The rock didn't go far a head of them and landed in an empty seat, but it was a good first attempt regardless.

Charlie looked at Grandar, still under the impression that it was actually Eidolon. "Are you sure that's safe? She might hit someone."

A confused look crossed Charlie's face Since when did Eidolon start calling people "Comrade?"

Lucky looked at Grandar, giving a toothy smile, loading another rock and managing to send it a bit farther than the first one, she was starting to get the hang of the sling shot.

With stars in his eyes, he watched Lucky, feeling more excited and proud with every launch. They gave them pats on the head and words of encouragement with every launch. He remembered how as a kid he would try to work the sling for hours a day and yet this child somehow picked it up imminently. He was baffled

Lucky seemed to be radiating pride with every successful launch, she learned quick, even Nina had found this out the hard way when teaching her to tot. Feeling just a bit cocky, Lucky picked a bigger rock from the pile and launched it into the arena. Since the match hadn't been called yet there was no one there, no one got hurt. As a consequence however, one of the rubber bands snapped, snapping back and hitting Lucky's cheek, leaving behind a small but noticeable mark.

Lucky though didn't cry or make a fuss from the rubber band's backlash, she just rubbed the mark on her cheek, it stung a bit. She was fine but the sling shot was busted.

Charlie just sat there, she didn't know how to react to the sudden action.
