so i’m currently doing a ponyta hunt, right? i ended up curious..
what are y’all stortest chain (the chain you got a shiny with quickest), and y’all longest chains (the one that took forever to get a shiny, NOT counting legendary chains bc i know those probably take forever)??

right now i think i have 54 hatches?? still no shiny but hopefully soon c:

If you're just talking about amount of hatches, then legends would count since chainable ones have the same shiny chance as all other Pokemon :)

My shortest was Basculin at 11, and longest was Cleffa at 292. Good luck on your Ponyta hunt!

hmm i find that super hard to believe considering how much it takes to hatch them ya know what i mean?? so it’d take longer than like normal hunts, right??

but i finally got a ponyta @ 60 hatches, and i think my longest was on pokefarm and it wassssss 250+ i think??

The length of time it takes is longer because it takes longer to hatch 'em, yeah. But talking purely about amount of eggs hatched, a Kyogre would have the same shiny chance as a Magikarp at any given chain number. Even with length of time it can be shorter though- just today, a user hatched a shiny Jirachi on chain 4, which took less time than my current Horsea hunt :D

Congrats on the shiny Ponyta! Both Ponyta and Rapidash are really good looking shinies!

my sister has much better luck tho. first egg she hatched after her started (on pokefarm) was a shiny deino?? she thought it was a riolu egg but n o

thanks!! i only just discovered my love for the fire horses so i’m glad my hunt seems to be going pretty good!

I was only able to keep up with about 2 hunts when I active 2 years ago. My shiny eevee and shiny swablu hunts.
Eevee was a chain of 66 for my 1st and 128 for my second
Swabu 80 followed by 228.

I'm actually working on a hunt I've been putting off for awhile my shiny cottonblu hunt.
Good luck with your ponyta hunt! :D I adore their shinies. Rapidash was my first shiny I ever encountered in the main games so it holds a special place in my heart.

My shortest was a Combee on chain 65. So far my longest has been Furfrou. I got my first Furfrou on chain 216. I don't plan on hunting it again.

Shortest- karrablast (chain 41) or basculin (if u count random shiny from the lab)
Longest- slakoth (current hunt 245 and counting)

There's a link on the pokeradar page to your pokeradar history, it'll say what chain number, day, and time each shiny you've hunted has hatched.

my shortest was my sentret line at like ten eggs n i think my longest was my mareep line or smthn
