Plot - Your general Pokemon Adventure
You've just graduated from the (*Region*) trainer school, but you have been given one last task.
The professor has asked of you and two of your ex-classmates to travel the region in order to gather information for his newly developed PokeDex.
In return, he will give you, each, a starter Pokemon in order to help you on your journey to complete his request.
He wishes for you all to meet him at his lab the following morning in order to discuss the matters and to collect your Pokemon.
Very important notes:
* I would like the number of characters to correlate to the number of starters available so that no one will be starting off with a ridiculously OP starter - do you get what I mean?
* Thus, I'm incredibly undecided about which region to use.
* If I use Kanto, I could allow Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and then possibly Pikachu and Eevee, which would equal a maximum of 5 characters.
* If I use Johto: Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Totodile, and maybe at a push, Marill, which would be four characters at max.
* Hoenn is kind of in the same boat, with Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip, and then maybe, Ralts - so, four characters max, again.
* Meanwhile, Gen 4 through to Gen 7 would only allow for three characters with each of their respective starting trio.
* So, I'm very unsure and don't really want to have duplicate staters.
* At the same time, I want to be able to include everyone who wants to take part in the roleplay.
* I am planning for the roleplay to follow the plot of their respective games, or as close to as possible, keeping in mind that I haven't played through US/UM.
* Also - battle mechanics - I need to figure this out too.
* All in all meaning that this (region, plot, etc) would have to be discussed before the roleplay goes up - either on this thread or I could make a group chat?

* PH rules apply.
* Please use proper sentences/paragraphs, it doesn't have to be much and grammar doesn't have to be perfect, but please just try.
* Please be realistic when catching, training, evolving Pokemon. I don't want to see Dragonites caught on route one, or final evolutions by the first gym.
* I'm not really one to complain about the usage of shinies - but, again, be realistic.
* Uh - could we keep character ages similar - maybe like 13-15 ish??
* I'll probably add more later~

Opt. = Optional.
I've purposely left out anything to do with Pokemon until the region is decided upon - then it'll probably be first come, first served for starters.
I'll only be making one character, leaving a maximum of four character's left (automatically making Kanto the region if full). If you, too, could keep to one character until further noticed, that would be great as I would love to give out the opportunity for as many people to participate as possible.
You may leave a WIP, but please complete it asap so that I can confirm your place in the roleplay~

Apperance: Short, around 4'11", wears a forest green jacket, grey undershirt, and denim pants. He has snow white hair and a cap resembling Red's cap. Grey eyes.
Personality: He's an expert in battling from the academy, so he gets bored easily. He's capable of pushing pokemon and their moves to their fullest potential. He is, however, quite bland, and gets tunnel vision easily.
Other: His backpack contains 12 pokeballs, 11 potions, and he has 1000 PD.

Personality: He's kind and calm and very protective of his friends. But he can be quite reckless, especially if his friends are in danger. Which can lead to himself being put in danger

Apperance: A porcelain girl with shoulder length dark sea green hair, strait, and forward facing bangs. Her eyes are a dark brown almost black.
Personality: Clara is incredibly intelligent both strategically and emotionally. She excels in manipulating people despite the obvious fact that she does not particularly enjoy other people. In contrast, she loves pokemon and connects with many pokemon, including wild, on a spiritual level. Trainers often envy her ability to communicate with even their own pokemon. In contrast, she actually hates battling (is pressured by her family to be a pokemon gym leader to follow in her families cliche legacy), and dreams to be a wild pokemon researcher. She empathizes with her pokemon too much but fails to pick up on normal social ques. This makes her appear standoffish and crass when in truth her heart is incredibly delicate; she's just waiting for the right people she knows she can really trust. Once you win Clara's trust you have a faultfully loyal friend until the end. That is, if she ever let herself have any friends.
Other: She has a very quirky side that comes out at unexpected times. Myers Briggs INF/TJ.
