The (shiny) Furfrou have been distributed now :)
Please check your storage boxes if your Party was full during the distribution.

Also note that Furfrou becomes breedable on July 1st, 2014. (I hope someone sends me a reminder on that day :b)

It will take time with the non shiny one's I guess? It seems I was too slow.

Next time, a notice before hand - like a day or two. Maybe a different page to obtain the eggs, as the people who used TG for their hunt, they can't continue the hunt because of wanting to participate in the event.
But you could try it out with a timer next time. Give us a time limit (like 5 or 7 days) and after that, who ever reached the goal the fastest wins.
Example: 58 people reached the goal in the time limit, but there's only 30 winners. Going by this event, the first 3 would get the shiny, rest of the 30 - the non shiny. And maybe the other 28 people would get a participation prize.

It's just an idea tho. I hope it made some sense.

Mainly in response to twinArmaeddons' post.
I had no problem with time and a large majority of the time it took to get my eggs I was looking for them in the TG. I may not have looked exactly every 10 minutes, every hour, but close to it as I kept a timer going on my phone to help remind me. I have never had much luck when it comes to the TG. Even when on a caterpie hunt, it normally took me at least a few hours to get just one egg, and there's only four patches of grass. As for interacting, I averaged to about 10k clicks a day, alone here on PH. That did not include the clicking I did on Yarolds. I also did some clicking on PFQ while I had my three mareep posted on my profile page, so that anyone who clicked me back on there might click them as well. I did the same on PF, only they were in my farmers log. I also posted the three in my profile on different sites (that allowed it) and every so often between clicking mania go to those tabs and move to a different page to keep my accounts online for more chances of someone clicking them. I decided to obtain very little sleep during this event in order to try my best at making one of the thirty. I am not disappointed in myself as I did the best I could and clicked without caring which pokemon I clicked or even feed berries to. And no, I am not putting any blame on those who decided to not click my mareeps back, or even to click a few pokemon in one of my boxes instead of my party, and there were a good number of those players. It was how they wanted to participate, it's their choice.

I'm sorry that you seem to have no luck with the TG.
For the interactions, what I did was I constantly asked for interaction exchanges, I bought a few rare candies, I got a pokeflute and I interacted a bit. Also went for features every single time I came on. I'm sorry you interacted so many times but got so little back.
