Cheshire was asleep near the pile of books in the library. Her bad
luck... seemed to have made them actually fall apart now, with
papers hanging loosely from the tower. A bookshelf nearby had one
collapsed shelf with the books sliding in a diagonal direction,
while the empty bookshelf (the Fantasy one) now had some white
cobwebs. The cobwebs were most likely not related to her presence.
She got up, rubbing her eyes.
"Morning!" She jumped up, then looked around. She thought something
was strange, "Wait... Something's different..." Cheshire kept
mumbling to herself.
Camelot woke up in one of the hallways of the castle, confused.
"Why was I asleep in the hallway and not my own room? I already
slept for nearly a full day... I shouldn't have been that tired."
"Hm..." Sonya muttered before tossing out her stale candy and
looking through her change purse counting the coins before nodding,
"Mhm. Enough for this week's bag of candy."
Hadrian fell to the ground after smashing the crystal. He got up
slowly, "Good job everyone, Take it easy for now" He said while
managing to stand up straight.
Luke woke up with a jump.
Hannah woke up on the floor in the kitchen with multiple other
maids, "What happened?" she asked as she adjusted her glasses.
Yurei woke up in his own bed with Yoni
shaking him violently."Hey!!
Something happened and it's not right, I can feel it..! Time has
been disrupted!"Yoni seemed
furious, he may be a troll which caused disease, but he always felt
a belonging to protect Time and Space deep down. Yurei turned to
his left to see the date, and noticed it was five days before
Hadrian taking the throne. "He did this!! I know he did!" Yurei
growled, feeling Yoni take him over.
Wh- Yoni was in control. His mind
raced, what could he do as a sign of acknowledgment to Hadrian?
Sinking into a shadow, Yoni slunk around in search for some paper.
He zipped around to a drawer in Yurei's room, and peeked out to
snatch a piece of it. He saw a red marker pen and grabbed that too.
Scribbling a message, he traveled underground into Hadrian's room
and left the paper. Due to him wearing gloves, no fingerprints
would have been left as well, making the Oni giggle to himself
mischievously. He left the page in sight and what was on it
read;
We're aware of your
antics.
I don't think messing with time is wise, even for you.
For as long as the rose is in bloom, the thorns shall forever
sharpen.
He thought he did the whole 'mysterious' thing correct, he was bad
at it for an Oni. Leaving his room and entering Yurei's, he went
back into his friend's mind.
"What? N-no," Cheshire shook her head. She didn't understand that
Sonya was talking about something else, "I was going to say that
the light bulbs are different." She walked to one of the tables,
tapping them with one of her fingers. Maybe they were burned out?
Regardless, her eyes noticed Sonya tossing out some candy from her
purse, "Huh? What's wrong with the candy?"
Camelot wandered the hallways, he had lost balance from being out
for some time. He kept looking at the windows. Wasn't it night
before? The butler would proceed to the main room of the
castle, hoping to find anyone.
"Just went stale is all. I was nearly out anyway so do you want to
come with me to get more?" Sonya asked with a slight smile while
tossing her coin purse into the air before catching it.
"Yep!" She smiled, "Besides I was half tempted to ask you for some
earlier." Cheshire was already raring to leave the library, it's as
if she already had a whole bag of sugar before going to sleep.
"Sweet," chuckled Sonya at her pun before listing off what she was
getting, "Gummy worms, chocolate, mints, lollipops, and possibly
caramels. Be sure to stay close to me as you are royalty and what
not."
“I think...” Lunara took Hadrian and Gaz by the arm and a bolt of
agony shot through her as she teleported them to the room. She
collapsed moaning in pain
Lunara blushed when she realized she was being carried by Hadrian.
Nonetheless, she relaxed, she was so exhausted. She ruffled her
wings to show him that she was awake
"Okay, I'll stay close~" Cheshire replied before beginning to hum
to herself. She walked ahead smiling. "OH! I should leave a note or
something for Camelot, he hasn't seen me all day," she suddenly
noted, not realizing how many days have passed since they last
spoke to one another.
