"No, it's fine~ He's not going to freak out too much," Cheshire
shrugged, reassuring Sonya. Plus, it's amusing seeing him have a
slight panic attack.
"Also, I'm fine being called Cheshire. I'm not that formal," she
laughed a little.
Hadrian smiler then sat Lunara down in his bed. He then looked and
saw a note written in red writing. He read it and chuckled, “Hmm,
interesting” he said aloud.
Sonya nodded before putting on a serious face as she went to the
man. He sighed face palming a bit, "Ugh, not you again."
"You only say that because I am biggest customer." Sonya explained,
"The usual order. Also I think that since you raised your prices
only for your portions to become smaller that you can throw in a
few caramel pieces for free."
"Geez. Those are my priciest candy. At best I can give you two." He
explained.
"Three or else I find somewhere to start shopping." Haggled
Sonya.
He shook his head with a laugh, "You'd seriously go all the way to
another kingdom to buy candy?"
Sonya nodded, "The trip would be perfect exercise."
They both glared at each other deciding who would budge first
before Sonya played a different card, "I've come with royalty and
I'd hate to keep her waiting."
Cheshire waved her hand to the merchant before looking around the
stand in awe. "WHOA! This is nice~ I rarely walk around the town.
To think someone would actually take the time to make so much
candy," she was eyeing some of the items sitting on the stand
before her. Out of curiosity, Cheshire touched some candy with her
finger before it snapped in two. She studied it quietly before a
jar had formed a crack, nearly spilling some of the items.
"Hey, um... You're not mad if something breaks, right?" Cheshire
asked. The reasoning for why she was so amused would be because of
what she had stated: Rarely being out of the castle due to her bad
luck. She had been told to not visit the town often growing up, as
to keep tensions between the lower class and royalty class at
peace. "Is... Is there a rule? 'Buy it, you break it?'"
"Maybe just ignore the caramels and half the suckers?" Sonya
offered getting a grunt in return as he took the bag and got her
candy ready. Sonya smiled a bit before looking at Cheshire, "Please
be careful. Broken things cost money to be fixed."
As she was walking, she noticed a strange figure holding a sword it
their hands.
She knew nothing of combat, but heard stories from one of her
father's.
She approached the figure with caution, when it became clear on who
they were
"Right, right," Cheshire nodded with a serious look before talking
quietly with a hint of guilt. "...Even if it was by accident?" She
picked up one of the candy that had fallen from the broken jar that
stood nearby in an effort to clean up the mess. It was stale. Just
like the candy Sonya had with her earlier. She kept staring at it,
even more bewildered than usual.
The figure removes the hood to reveal her autumn mask which is also
taken off. Marissa's amber eyes were harried, "You are supposed to
be in the castle, young lady. Whatever are you doing here?"
"Yes, even on accident." Sonya explained with a soft smile before
deciding to explain a bit more. "You see, when hurt someone weather
of purpose or accident, we must make it up to them. To make it up
you can pay them for damages or offer to work for them until the
debt has been paid."
"I honestly don't know how I got here!!!! First I know, I was
sleeping, then something weird happened, then I land here, all
confused! So don't try and blame me for not staying safe!!!"
