Ad masuda method, and make that it works exactly like in the original games

(The masuda method is a shiny trick that wen breeding with Pokemon of different country the egg have a bigger chance of being shiny)

At a glance, it's a good idea. Though changing country settings is as easy as changing the flag you wave. Change your country settings... And you'd likely trick the system, or you'd have a friend help you Masuda. That would likely lead to confusion over nationalities. So I won't support this.

I feel in hindsight this could be a good idea, but then again you're not really pitching a good idea with what's being suggested in mind that could potentially work out well here, and would be open for good discussion.

Like @MasterMewtwo2 was saying, changing your country flag, or merely basing it off that wouldn't really work out. Also, there's a lot of people don't set a country flag at all to indicate where they are and would want to reveal that.

Also, basing it off the OTs IP and where they are located wouldn't be good either because that can change, and you can always use proxies and VPNs to change your location.

But yeah, I personally support the idea of involving a Masuda method to further increase shiny odds for breeding in some way, but just don't feel like having it being official-like would really work out in all honesty.

Honestly, Shinies are already decreasing in value here, but I digress: it's very easy to make a trade here and get a Pokemon from another user in another part of the world with little to no effort. The Masuda method increases the Shiny chance by a flat rate as there is no egg chaining in the games, but here, we have the Pokeradar, so it's largely redundant and further reducing the value of shinies.
