For shiny hunting you can use pokeradar - it's the easiest way to get shiny - Winning a lottery is possible as long as you buy enough tickets (1000+ I think) and trolling part would be the "Win a free arceus" leading to rules.

Some users would have read it, others wouldn't have, not really caring one way or another.

Personally, I read rule updates, and I check the rules page every so often :3 (I was there just yesterday, just skimming over them again)

But, it's clear that some users won't read the rules or the updates to them unless something is offered in return. Even if it's a false lead just to get them to look it over.

So while some of us would have read them, a majority of the userbase wouldn't.
And I'm sure some users get on this thread, see there's no free arceus, then leave without reading the updates either...

When I read the title it said "Get a free Arceus" and I was like:
"Is he trying to scam me?" XD But I re-read the rules but when the end said 'No free Arceus' I was like "Meh. I like mew better than Arceus anyway." :P
