People. Hear me out.
What would you think about having NO block saying
"You have already set up a Pokémon with the same species!
Please offer something different."
at the shiny Wonder trade?
I know that I'm annoyed as heck. And I guess you peeps have the same problem, right?
How often do you have a shiny X at the WTS.... just to get another Gyarados to your already great collection of 7?
It's always the same. Gyarados. Gengar. Magikarp. Gastly. Pidgeot. Beedrill.
So.
This is my suggestion.

Burn down the halt telling you you can't upload the same Species!
When you have 5 Gyarados. Yeah so what?! PUT THEM ALL UP ALREADY.

Because even when you throw something in like , as example, Kangashkan...the chance that you are getting one of them up there is the same.

Even the games allow you to wonder trade the same species over and over again.

I hope this suggestion finds some friends who also have, as example, 4 shiny Gengar sitting in the trade box.

I can u derstand that its pretty annyoing if you have multiple shinies of the same poke or when you get multiple gyarados from there, but if we would be allowed to put up like 5 shiny gyarados there would be even more of them in the wondertrade. It would probably be better if we could not receive multiple pokes of the same kind.

Think about the amount here.
When every user has 5 Gyarados on hand, all what will be there is Gyarados.
Or the others.
I barely get anything useful out of wonder trade already xD

And nobody would care if there is only gyarados. you would have 5 on hand too xD
Because, even when you block the same receiving.
There are so many out there, you would get only, like 2 Pokemon every wonder trade since you already got x.
....am I understandable? xD

Well i sometimes (even if its rarely happening) receive non-potential-megaable shinies (a combee 3 days ago e.g.) and at least you can get the potential megaable ones from there quite good which is nice for newer users. If we would allow multiple of the same poke swt would be flooded with them and the only purpose of it would be the ho-oh-code...

I disagree, in fact in hearing that almost everyone hates shiny wonder trade. They should make a even more strict law to add on, Once a Pokemon was traded, you can't put the same Pokemon back into wonder trade. And saying something like, "I hate getting shiny gyarados! I'm going to keep putting them in the cycle until I get something good!" Is rather hypocritical and if you really want people to stop doing this. How about you stop putting them in and put good shinies? (this isn't aimed at you, just people that do this in general)

I saw a post like this happen ago not too long ago... lol Honestly I'd want it to be stricter to a point where you don't get the receive the same species more then twice in a Wonder Trade session. This would prevent what I would call a "trade deficit" where you have to get new shiny pokes because you Wondertraded 5 different pokemon and got 5 shiny gyarados in return. Also make shared evo lines same species, so people can't fill with Magikarp, Gyarados, Weedle, Kakuna, and Beedril for example.

Would that limit the amount of possible potential trades? Perhaps, but not finding a "trade partner" still happens regardless at times (and has happened to me before anyway). This would prevent less salt in the wounds on a regular occurrence.
