Rose smiled. "Alright, James, your on Archer, Sari, your on Kiro.
Lise you are on Bella, and Jace, Echo. I will be on Beau, the
leader of this little herd. He helps keep everyone together" she
said. "Grab your horse I assigned you and there are brushes in the
tack room. Once they are done I will tack up your horse so just
walk them over" she said as she opened Beau's stall. The white
gelding lowered his head and followed Rose without a halter and
walked him to the tack room to brush him.
James and Sari both walked over to the horses they were assigned
and greeted them before grabbing brushes for them.
Jace grabbed Echo and pat him before putting the halter on.
Lise went over to her assigned horse and greeted them before
grabbing a brush. Troye did the same and followed Lise’s lead as
she told him what to do from what she remembered.
Rose laughed a bit. "Carri is trying to get you to relax a little
more. She will try to make you laugh" she said as she finished
brushing Beau. She tacked him up and waited for the others to line
up with their horses.
James and Sari finished up while Jace already walked Echo to Rose
for her to tack up.
Rose tacked up Bella who flicked her tail and nickered excitedly.
"She might be a little hyper at first because she hasn't been
ridden in about a week, but she will calm down when we get
going."
Jace pat Exho who snorted and stompted his hoof wanting to get
going.
James and Sari had Rose tack up their horses before they just
needed to wait on Troye.
Troye managed to lead Carri over to Rose and was starting to gain a
little more confidence. Lise smiled at him, glad he was finally
warming up to the horse before thinking about what they were going
to do next.
Rose smiled as she tacked up Carri. "Alright. Now I need everyone
who doesnt know how to get into the saddles to watch me" she said.
She put her foot in the stirrup and swung into the saddle. "If your
horse is too tall for you to do so, there is a mounting block for
you to use" she said. She watched James get into the saddle easily,
though watched Sari need to use the mounting block. She wasnt
surprised since Sari was using a taller horse, and was shorter than
Rose. Jace struggled slightly, but was in the saddle quickly.
Lise picked up the reins, fairly confident in what she was doing.
Troye hesitated for a second before doing the same. Lise gave him
the most encouraging smile she could muster.
Troye and Lise managed to follow along without much trouble. Lise
was still a little worried though. She had nearly forgotten the
situation they were in. What would happen now?
Rose lead the group to the edge of the forest and stopped. She
looked around before she saw what looked like a blue sparkle in the
air, almost leading them on where they needed to go. "Think that's
were we need to go" she asked the group.
Rose pulled her bow out and placed an arrow, preparing to shoot.
"Alright, let's go" she said. She placed Beau's reins down and used
her legs to control him.
Lise and Troye followed Rose on their horses. Troye was comfortable
on the horse now, and Lise was watching the forest carefulky. She
had a bad feeling about this.
Jace and Sari we're cautious looking around while James followed,
trying to keep calm.
Rose lead the way into the forest, following the blue path. She
kept the arrow ready to go, but she lowered it seeing a gold door
with stone and vines on it. "What the-" she said.
Troye raised an eyebrow when they saw the door. “Alright, this day
just keeps getting weirder and weirder.” He said with a sigh. Lise
nodded before getting off her horse and cautiously walking towards
the door.
