Suko was about to respond to Apollo but instead squeaked when Deirdre picked him up taking him away from Azul. He glanced at Deirdre and cheerfully nuzzled the trainer as if he were trying to tell her it was good to see her again.

"Looks like Suko isn't upset over that silly grudge you're holding on Max." Scar sighed and followed Deirdre. "I think Dad holds grudges as long as you do." She mumbled and remembered how Max had been taken out of context but Deirdre wasn't believing him when he tried to explain himself. She glanced at Apollo for a moment and blinked before growing quiet again.

Max sighed and shrugged. "I don't know." He mumbled in concern.

"Come on, we need to find Si!" JJ cheered happily while pulling her cousin, Micah, behind her away from a fabric store.

"B-But pretty cloths." Micah whined causing Joey to snort.

"It's creepy how much like Uncle Jamie he sounds, huh princess." Joey mused.

"Not really." JJ mused. "Like father, like son."

"Oi! I can hear you both!" Micah replied before grinning. "Race you two lovebirds!" He said before taking off.

"Hey! Wait up!" JJ and Joey called at the same time before taking off after Micah.

(Nothing much. Deirdre got posed at Max. Max, Austin and Jenny are looking for Suko)

“What are you guys doing...?” Simon asked, concerned and confused at what he was seeing. Zeke hid behind him out of fear for his life, probably.

“Probably.” Deirdre says at Scar’s second comment. “Suko’s cooler than his trainer, though.” She added as she gently let the Pokémon and looked around. “Where is Max?” She asked the Pokémon.

Micah rounded a corner and spotted the back of Simon and Zeke. He let out a breathy chuckle as he sped forward toward his cousin while picking up his starter, Flower.

"Mic get back here!" JJ called as she turned the corner after Micah with Joey hot on her heels causing Micah to let out a laugh.

“Hello,” Apollo lifted one hand as a greeting, looking at Scar and Deirdre cautiously. “So I’m guessing he’s one of yours?” He gestured to Suko as Azul scrambled onto his head to get a bit closer to the other Pokémon.

“That’s my sibling,” Ness answered honestly, pointing toward Casey. “And they stole my chocolate bar. So I’m gonna take their chocolate bar.” She explained swiftly, lifting one hand to her forehead to keep the sun out of her eyes as she squinted at Simon. “Who’re you anyway?”

“Micah!” Simon cheered as he ran to hug his cousin. “Hi!” He grinned widely,Zeke happily trotting begins him. After a few moments he turned to Ness.

“Simon. Simon Cornwall. And you?” He smiled gently.

“No.” Deirdre shakes her head. “He belongs to someone I know. I think Suko got lost.” She replied.

"Si! Hey! Save me from thing one and two?" Micah said jokingly as he hugged Simon back before motioning to JJ and Joey who were behind him.

"Gee I feel so loved." Joey said sarcastically causing JJ to snort.

Scar glanced at Apollo and sighed before trying to deal with her timid nature. "No, Suko is a friend's. One my sister really should apologize to." Scar replied kindly.

Suko shrugged and looked around the Pokemon frowned as he didn't see Max anywhere. "Come on Deirdre, Max raised Suko from an egg, he's going to act like his trainer. Just like how Cyndaquil acts a lot like Tiger." She said softly. "Suko's only 'cooler than Max' because you're still mad at Max."

Austin glanced at Jenny before walking beside Max. "Don't worry Max we'll find him. Where's Miyah?" He asked curiously. Max shrugged in response to Austin he hadn't seen his sister in a bit.

“Ew, girlfriend and boyfriend?!” Simon sticks out his tongue in disgust. “Groooss.”

Zeke imitates his trainer before letting out a happy bark (?).

“I should apologize? He’s the one that said things about me. I’ll teturn Suko and leave.” Deirdre snorted. “Thanks, miss voice of reason.” She adds with a slightly sarcastic tone and sighed.

“Ness. Nessa West.” Ness introduced, returning the smile with one of her own. “Nice to meet you.” She added, tucking her hands into her pockets and watching (albeit a bit awkwardly) the others interact. So they all know each other. Family? Friends? .. Both?

“Ah. Okay.” Apollo nodded wisely, standing and brushing himself off. “Okay then. Nice to meet you. And the Quilava.” So they’re arguing. And I’m in the middle. Whoops. Nice way to start the day, Hunter. Very nice.

Amidst his trainer’s internal crisis, Azul seemed to find it in him to forgive the boy, patting his head supportingly with a small chirp.

Scar sighed and gave up like usual. She glanced at Apollo apologetically. "Err. Sorry. I didn't mean to get you caught up in this." She said in embarrassment. "I'm Scar, the Quilava is my friend, Max's starter Suko, and the Squirtle eating the berries in my bag is Nami." Scar said kindly, she had managed to get over her shyness for a few moments to try and introduce herself. "The short tempered girl over there is my twin, Deirdre."

JJ stuck her tongue out at Simon before turning to Ness. "Pleasure to meet you Miss Ness. I'm JJ Cornwall." She grinned.

"I'm Micah Larue! I'm Simon and JJ's cousin." Micah introduced himself softly while scooting to hide behind Simon.

"I'm Joey. This one's boyfriend." Joey mused while motioning to JJ.

“Oh, wait, no,” Apollo stumbled over his words for a moment. “It’s fine. I don’t have anything else to do anyway.” He offered with a somewhat awkward grin. “I’m Apollo. The Oshawott is Azul. Nice to meet you, and your, uh, short tempered twin.” The following smile was not as awkward as the one before it.

“Hiya! Mhm.. JJ, Micah, and.. ehh.. Joey, right?” Ness nodded, a tad bit proud of herself for remembering their names without to much trouble. “The nerd over there is my sibling, Casey. Casey please, I know you can talk.”

Casey nodded.

“Okay, fine. You look nice.” She mused, the second part directed toward the others. “All of you. .. What brings you to Kalos?”

“JJ, you’re so mean.” Simon grumbled, though e didn’t really mean it. “And gross. I like Joey better.”

“I am not short tempered!” Deirdre snapped before sighing. “Fine. Maybe a little bit. Or more than a little. But with good reason!” She grumbled.

“I’m in Kalos to journey! I’m gonna get a team of Pokémon that I love!” Simon cheered and grinned.

Jenny walked over. “There. That... Deirdre? That girl has a Quilava.” She pointed to Deirdre and turned to Max.

Scar sighed and shrugged in response to Deirdre. "You got upset at your childhood friend only because he said something to stop making a bully bother you." She whispered dully and glanced at Apollo. "It's nice to meet you Apollo." She said kindly and offered him a polite smile.

Max looked up and noticed Deirdre had Suko. He froze and sighed. "Great she has it." He mumbled quietly and stopped walking.

Austin raised an eyebrow. "Why is that bad?" He asked quietly. "Isn't she like a childhood friend or something?"

"Deirdre hates me..." Max mumbled quietly.

"Of course I am Si." JJ mused while fluffing Simon's hair before chuckling at his enthusiasm.

"I'm making sure these three don't kill themselves somehow. Our family has a bad habit of getting into trouble or getting themselves killed." Micah replied seriously.

"Wasn't that with the group of friends our dads had?" JJ asked.

"Yep." Micah replied. "Uncle Robert used to get someone known as Tiger human-sized hamster balls all the time."

Miyah was mad.

Not because she lost. She had actually won quite nicely. Kita had fought beautifully and defeated the gym with ease. Miyah was mad because the trainers around here were nasty to her. Now, she was stomping through the city, hardly noticing anyone she passed.

“A bully? He was talking crap about me! That’s low and fake!” Deirdre hissed angrily. If Suko wasn’t in her hands, she’d be angrily crossing her arms.

“Why does she hate you?” Jenny asked quietly and sighed as she approached the group.

“Yeah, remember when mom almost died? She had to leave.” Simon frowned, not realizing the full situation that had happened then.

Flower looked at the girl stomping around before following after her without Micah knowing. "Anyways. Why are you here Miss Ness?" Micah asked.
